I bit my lip nervously as I waited for a response. Maybe he wouldn't reply again, he's probably pissed off because I quite clearly ignored him for so long.
I'd never forgive myself if I've annoyed or upset him.
It was only then I realised I'd never replied to his lyrical tweet.
