PETER'S POV

I got myself up at about seven AM. I threw on my best hoodie, a pair of black jeans, and some old, black converse. I threw in a couple more pairs of pants into my trunk before buckling it closed and walking into the kitchen. "I'm ready mum," I say making her turn around with her typical smile across her face. "Ohhh my darling boy going to be a 6th year," she walked over to me and kissed my forehead. I roll my eyes and laugh. she gave me a piece of toast with jam on it and she began to clean up the kitchen as I ate. I can't wait to see all my mates again. especially Remus. he was always so kind to me and I could always count on him. I'm excited to hear them call me Wormtail from across the room again. I'm excited to plan our pranks only to get busted by some professors. I always loved making jokes with them about the moon to Remus or about a man's best friend with Sirius. They always made a joke like 'ill set the cat on you Wormtail because I'm a rat. After finishing my toast I got up and placed my trunks in the back of the car. We really didn't need to use the car since we live basically right next to Kings Cross but I didn't want my mum to carry all my stuff. The car ride was silent. I always feel bad leaving for school because I'm the only thing mum has. She ran me through the platform like every year and soon we said our goodbyes. "Look for my owl," she said with tears in her eyes. I nodded my head in agreement and kissed her on the cheek. The boys make fun of me and how much I love my mum but shes all I got. If something happened to her, I don't know what I would do with myself. Or if she found out I was dead, I couldn't imagine the dread in her face because she would be alone. Finally, I met up with my mates on the train and sat next to Sirius who was looking more sad than usual. Sirius is sometimes sad because his home away from Hogwarts is a shit hole but most of the time he's the happy dog I love.
