11. Lucius

I couldn't stop thinking about why Remus had to skip muggle studies. maybe he really did have a reason. I decided to put that thought aside and worry about my own problems, like how I'm gonna avoid the fact that tonight is a full moon and I can't hurt anyone. When I was a child, my mother would make a potion to prevent big transition on full moons, but she never taught me how to make it so I'm stuck transitioning to a big bad werewolf until I can get my hands on that potion. I decided since I had to transition, I would do it in isolation. I couldn't remember what the professors said about the forest but I decided to go there. I reached my room and no one was in it so I got some books and some snacks then I started for the forbidden forest. I was nearly there when I bumped into a large and rather lanky figure. I look up from the ground to see a familiar face. I had never spoken to this boy but I recognize his features. "Where do you think you're going?" I was confused as to why he believed he had authority over me until I took a closer look. he was a Slytherin, and he was the head boy. Some Slytherins aren't as friendly as Severus, so I've heard. "Nowhere to your concern." I wasn't gonna take his crap, its a full moon and I'm not in the best mood. "Okay gorgeous. But why haven't I seen you before," he said. He was flirting and I mean I was cool with it so. I mean as long as he lets me go through then I'll flirt back. "Maybe you weren't looking hard enough," I say. I gave him a wink and walked right past him. "Wait," I whipped my head around to see what he was fussing about, "what's your name," he asked finishing with a smile. "Why should I tell you? You don't seem worthy," I say. "Because I'll just ask around until I get it then I'll bug you forever," he confirmed. "Hmm. I'll take my chances," I say finally walking away. I took my time to get to the forest. I enjoyed gazing at the scenery around me when I found something rather odd. A dog, deer, and a rat ran into a hole in a tree. I was confused but then I remembered I attend a school for witches and wizards so this was normal. I decided to follow them because again, this was normal. I figured I should be quiet so I quietly walked in the direction of the tree. but I was interrupted by a call of my name. "LOVEY!! Lovey, that's your name." it was the blond boy again. "Ding ding you're correct!" I say smirking in his direction. "Thank you thank you. All I had to do was ask the first person I saw to tell me the name of the beautiful new student and they knew exactly who I was talking about," he said panting because he ran over to me. "How did you know I was new?" I asked. "I would have remembered a pretty face like yours," I smirked. "You're good. Okay, Mr. panty-dropper, what next?" I asked. I began to think of the strange animals that wandered off into the tree.

"Lucius."

"What?"

"Lucius, that's my name. And um I was wondering if you wanted to maybe get a coffee one day down at the three broomsticks?" he began to turn red which was cute.

"Well Lucius, I'll have to check my schedule but I'll get back to you," I say finally walking away for good.
