LILY'S POV
"This year better not suck," I said to myself getting out of the bed for the last time in a couple of months. I have to say I am excited to see Alice and everyone. There's one person I don't miss. James Potter. He's so annoying and he thinks he's so cool and ugh he's not! I mean it's debatable but no. I put that thought aside as I began to get ready. I threw on some random clothes because I'll be changing soon. I walked out of my room and headed to my family. they were sitting in the kitchen as dad prepared breakfast. a typical muggle breakfast of eggs and bacon. soon Petunia walked out of her room. As soon as she saw my trunks she gave me a glare and mouthed 'freak' I've learned to laugh along with it because she knows a can mess her up with a flick of my wrist. "Lily dear, your father will take you to King's Cross," my mum spoke getting up from the table. "Then let's get a move on father," I said hoping up from the table grabbing my trunks. I gave my father a kiss goodbye and I quickly ran through the wall to get onto the platform. Turns out I was really late so I basically ran to put my trunks away and quickly got on the train. I sat with my good friend Alice Prewett. Soon the train was off. Glad I made it.
