Lovey's POV

It seemed that Severus and I clicked. Like we were meant to be friends. I honestly hope I am in Slytherin so I can hang out with him. When we arrived at the castle, I was speechless. I've never seen such overwhelming beauty. The castle was perfect. Severus said he was willing to show me all his hiding places throughout the castle. When we got it, it seemed that everyone knew what they were doing except me.  I just stood there in the middle of all the commotion until someone told me what to do, and luckily that worked. An older woman walked up to me and started speaking. "Lovell Greyback?" she asked. "Lovey, yes that's me," I responded with a soft smile. She then told me to follow her which I did, considering she looked as a professor would. She led me into the castle where it was even more beautiful and she told me something about the staircases but I wasn't really listening. I was a bit preoccupied looking at the endless walls of moving paintings waving to me. Soon we reached a giant stone bird thing. The professor said a couple of words and another staircase appeared. She led me up the stairs stopping halfway. "My name is professor McGonagall, It's nice to meet you miss Greyback." I gave her a smile and told her it was a pleasure. "Professor Dumbledore sir this is the new 6th year," she spoke out of the open when we reached a large room. A man with a long grey beard appeared out of nowhere holding a rugged old hat. He placed the hat on my head and the hat began to talk. "Hmm, this is odd. not an eleven year old. right you aspire to be with a friend in Slytherin I presume but that's just not you. how about Gryffindor?" It spoke. No. No, no, no. This can't be right. They just placed a hat on my head and now I'm in Gryffindor? No! Professor McGonagall took the hat off of my head and led me out of the large room leaving the old man behind. She explained to me how my house will be like my family, but I didn't want to be in the Gryffindor family. I wanted to be with Severus. She led me to the girl's lavatory and gave me robes to put on. The decal had a little lion on it. I threw it on and walked back out then we were off again. Soon we reached a larger room than before. It had four extremely long tables filled with millions of people. As soon as she opened the large doors to the room with the tables, all eyes were on us as if they were expecting someone else. I spotted Severus out of the crowd and gave him a sad look. Professor McGonagall directed me to one large table with people with the same robes as me. I guess this is my new family. "Miss Evans, do you mind showing miss Greyback around?" She asked a pretty redhead surrounded by a bunch of boys. The girl gave me a soft smile and made room for me next to her. I sat down and looked up to see four boys about my age looking at me like I have four heads. "Hi, I'm Lily." The redhead said. She looked so nice."I'm Lovey." I said returning the smile. "I'M JAMES," one boy said with a silly smirk on his face. I looked over at Lily and she was rolling her eyes. "This is Remus, Peter, and Sirius." he introduced his friends. Remus was smiling and so was Peter but Sirius just focused on me. Almost like he knew me but I had never heard a name like Sirius before. James had the curly dark brown almost black hair and he wore a bright smile that could cheer anyone up. Remus looked more like a baby. He had pretty brown eyes and a quiff hairstyle. Peter looked the youngest. He had bright blonde hair and little dimples when he smiled. Sirius didn't look like any of them. He had long dark hair and a mysterious far off look. He looked like the boy your mother does not approve of because he rides a motorcycle without a helmet. After the feast, I decided to try to find Severus which I thought would be difficult considering I can't find the bathroom myself but I soon found him and ran up to him. "Hey..." is all I said to see if he was okay. "Hey. Hows Gryffindor treating you." I licked my lips and took a deep breath disregarding his question. "We'll be able to see each other right?" I asked. he nodded. He held his arms out waiting for me to wrap my arms around his slender waist. which I did. he held me tight. I soon let go and looked up at his pale and slender face, "I know we just met, but thank you for being so welcoming and kind, I hope we can stay friends," I say with a smile. He looked down at me and smiled back. "Me too," was all he said.

I can do this.
