Of course, I couldn't sleep thinking about everything that had happened. I wanted something to happen to Lucius. Something bad. I wanted him to pay for what he did to me. I needed to sleep but I kept thinking about James. He was being a good friend and that's why he kissed me. He likes Lily obviously but I can't stop thinking about him. And poor Sirius. He's gonna be heartbroken when he hears I went out with Lucius. Why did I do it? I was uncomfortable from the start why didn't I refrain from going in the first place. I supposed I deserved what I got. I got myself into this mess. Because I couldn't sleep I decided to take a walk. It was a risky move but there was no point in me sitting in my room until sunrise. I snuck out of the portrait without waking the fat lady. I walked to the lake without being seen. I went to the lake because I thought that it would be nice to calm down by the water alone. but I wasn't alone. there was someone on the dock already. I approached the figure quietly being sure not to step on a leaf or stick. I got close enough to see that it was a girl around my age, maybe older. She was smoking and she was topless. "Uh hello," I said in a whisper. she quickly moved her cigarette behind her back and moved her other arm in front of her breasts. "Who's there?" she spoke in a strong British accent. I walked closer hoping she wouldn't be threatened by a 16-year-old girl.  "Who are you?" she asked slowly revealing her cigarette and lifting it to her mouth again. "Lovey, my name is Lovey." I stuttered.  "I just came down here to think, what about you?" I asked. I realized it was very strange of me to ask but it just came out."I came down here to take a dip," she spoke. I was close enough now to see that her hair was wet and her makeup was running. "You swam in this?" I said pointing to the dark lake. "Sure I do all the time, the creatures and I are companions," she laughed. I didn't really get the joke in that but I laughed too.  A bit awkwardly might I add. "I'm Andromeda, and I can see that you're in Gryffindor," she spoke pointing to my cloak. "Do you know my little cousin Sirius?" I froze a bit. I just nodded my head and smiled. "You look like you've been crying, are you okay," I quickly changed the subject. Her eyes were a bit red and her makeup was running but it may have been because she was swimming. "As a matter of fact, no, I'm not," she gave me a soft smile and turned away taking another puff of her cigarette. "I like the boy, but if I pursue him, my family will disown me forever. I love my family but I can't keep Ted a secret anymore, I love him so much," she cried. "Well I know we just met but if It were me I wouldn't care if I lost my family to someone I loved and I felt I would love forever. Then again, I don't come from the best family and I wouldn't really care if I lost them for someone I hated." We both stood there in silence staring at each other. "I should get back, see you around," she spoke before walking right past me and throwing her cigarette butt on the ground.

She was strange but she was the most human person I've met here.
