One Week Later....

Daku couldn't keep still in Oto's wagon to Hyrule Castle Town. His head was looking out the window, letting the wind whirl past his face, and carrying his mud short hair.  The orange sunrise started to kiss the night away.

Daku cracked his first smile.

"Don't lean too far forward Dak," informed Ashei. Dak is the new nickname she gave her brother; her theory is all younger siblings should get a nickname that annoys them. Daku couldn't help leaning over the side of the wagon and inch a little more forward, seeing the peak of Hyrule Castle. Ashei got up and yanked his ragged cream shirt back. "Dak, I just told you not to lean far, you gonna kiss the dirt."

Daku looked back at Ashei sitting against the wooden wagon wall reading a book. "Sorry, Ash," Ash, the new nickname for his older sister (to get her back for his annoying nickname) Daku replied. "I got excited when I saw Hyrule castle."

Ashei rolled her eyes. "Why, Dak?" She scrunched up her face and puckered her lips. "Is it because you want to kiss the princess?"

Daku viciously sighed. "No! Besides, in all the book I've read about Princess Zelda, she is older than I am."

Ashei giggled a bit. "Well Daku, you're in luck. Those Zeldas have grown up and died. You see, every princess of Hyrule is named Zelda. I don't know why but they are. The youngest Princess Zelda is your age."

Daku leaned his back on the wall and propped his elbows behind him out the window. "Well then, Princess Zelda needs to look out," Daku suggested as he combs his back with his fingers.

Ashei rolled her eyes. "Wow, for being the shy crying wimp last week," she smirked and laughed "You're true colors sure came out."

Daku turned his head towards the front of their wagon where Oto was steering. Then he turned back and locked his ivy green eyes with Ashei's. Daku smiled at her. His smiles were very different from anyone else's. Daku's smile looked like a crescent moon and his teeth where always so white and straight. "Why you say that now Ashei?"

"Well, I guess you're finally getting comfortable here, so your real personality is coming out. I am just surprised that someone who was a slave for bublins turns out to be very sure of himself."

"Oh, so Ash is skeptical of her little brother, huh? Ok, let me tell how it really was."

Ashei crossed her arms "Mhmm, enlighten me, Dak, of your slavery with the bublins." She put an emphasis on "slavery" by bending two fingers on each hand repeatedly.

"Ok, ok. First I wasn't their slave. I was more like a tool to their King: King Bulbo. The King made me believe I was his son. Ever since I could remember, he would train me in everything that had to do with swordsmanship, jousting, archery, and magic. It was hell at first, but when I learned how to kill, they treated me like a king"

At the end of the story, Ashei was laying on her belly and her hands were holding up her face. "Wow, that's really interesting Dak. So you said you could do magic, right?"

Daku's back went straight and he crossed his arms "Right. Are you skeptical still Ash?"

She tilted her head onto one hand. "Only about the magic part. Can you show me some magic?"

Daku grinned and spoke in a low steady voice. "Of course, Ash." He touched his fingertips together gently. Slowly, a peaceful scarlet wind was swirling in between his hands. The magic turned into a ball of red wind. Ashei face whitened and froze; her mouth dropped open.

The wagon immediately came to a stop. Oto looked back at Daku. "DAKU! What are you doing?!" Oto was infuriated. The growl in Oto's voice startled Daku, causing his magic to disperse into nothing. "Daku, please. This is the only time I am going to say this," Oto raised his pointer finger. "Whatever you do, don't be usin' any of that magic in Castle Town. You hear me boy?"
