The Facade

"I am not alone? There are others like me?" Daku asked. Sheik nodded. She pointed to the eye symbol on her tunic. 

"Sheikans see everything. We are the shadows of Hyrule. Our race has been guarding the royal family for generations. Sheikan means shadow folk." she placed her hand on his cheek "You are the first male sheikan Hyrule has seen for generations. You are destined to save our people. There are only of few of us left. The elders of our race are predicting another time of darkness to fall on Hyrule."

Daku smiled. Finally he could fight for good. "Tell me what I need to do?"

Sheik smiled "Train once again with me. Shekians are masters of combat and magic." She held her hand out "Are you ready?"

"Ready"

Years later...

Daku knelled on top of the canyon, waiting for his prey. A sandstorm brewed towards him. She is here. A black horse rode hard through the canyon. Daku jumped on and grabbed the rider off. The rider kicked him in his stomach. He counter attacked her. After that each hit they threw at each other was blocked by the other. She stopped and bowed.

"You are ready to met the princess, Daku" she announced.  Daku pulled Sheik closer and kissed her. 

"Good, you are finally going to take me with you. Finally! I am glad our trust isssues have resolved themseves." he chuckled

His arms wrapped around her waist. "No, I have always trusted you. Zelda just got permission to see you."

"Oh, her dad is like that huh? No boys tills some prince comes along."

"I guess you could put it that way. Come walk with me." They stood side by side walking to Hyrule castle. "We will not be working together, I have been choosen to be Zelda personal guard along with Impa. She will be fine because you are the Hero of Time."

"I know. I still have not found the master sword." he replied

"Do not worry, it will be revealed to you once Hyrule is endanger."

Hyrule castle towered over them. 

Sheik went ahead inside, guards blocked Daku ways with spears. Sheik's body disappeared going up the stairs. "Princess Zelda will see you now, Sheikan"  Daku headed up the tall tower.

Daku found himself in front of a large door embellished  with Hyrule's history. "May I come in, Princess?"

A soft voice "You may". Daku pushed the large rusty door. Time was slowly down, as he took each step the door croaked louder and was harder to push open. Zelda was in front of the window. The sun highlighted her porcelain cheek , and hair. Her eyes stayed shut, the gold pieces locked in her hair shined into Daku's eyes.  Her purple dress outlined her hourglass figure. She opened her eyes, Daku was swallowed in her blue iris.  Her beauty took him to his knees and short of breathe.  His cheeks got warm, the pinks were able to fight through his black skin.  

"It is such an honor to be in your presents, your grace" he said. Zelda bowed her head and covered her heart.  

She muttered "Do you find me more beautiful than your love?"

Daku eyes widen, he shot up. He threw away his polite self.  "Well, excuse me princess! I thought you were sweet modesty young lady. Yes, you are beautiful unlike anything I have seen but you don't even come closer to her. Furthermore, I am your weapon. I am here on business, not to be your crush or the thing that fills your self esteem."  Tears feel of her face but she caught each one on her gloves. "My lady I am so sorry! I didn't mean it!" His hands landed on her shoulders. 

Then, she smiled. She chuckled "If you only knew."

Daku instantly backed off "Excuse me, princess. But you are kinda creeping me out. " Zelda jumped in front of him, she grabbed the collar of his shirt and forced him in a kiss. 

I'm dead either way, get killed by Sheikh if she finds out I did not stop her or Impa if I push her off me. My eyes are closed to, do I open them so this won't mean a thing. If her eyes are open...nope not taking a chance.

It ended. Daku squeezed open one eye.

He fell to the ground. "I am so sorry please forgive me! I did not mean anything by it!"

Sheikh was in front of him now "I did not know you were the type to beg for mercy." Daku was on all four with his hands together walling . "Daku! Shut up and look around you." He head snapped side to side. "Zelda is not here. Do you understand?"

"She ran away! She used me! Sheik, we have to find her now. " He ran towards the door, Sheik slammed it in his face.  She pinned him against it. 

"Was that kiss so magical that it made you stupid?" she snarled. Sheik eyes turned blue, her ponytail snapped, her hair grew and darkened. A blue glow covered her body, when it faded she was in Zelda's dress. She look up at her face it was Zelda holding him against the door. 

"What! Sheikh you are the princess?"

"Yes, Hyrule can't always depend on a Hero of Time. A princess needs to keep her kingdom safe by herself as well."

hey I am back. I am so sorry I have been gone for years. I have been fighting for my life against lyme diease. I have been bed ridden and just trying to make it through college. I am well enough to start back up my writing hobby.
