Irritating. How irritating. Serenity gritted his teeth, his fist clenching

around the smoking cigarette butt. It was just so damn irritating. He

crushed the cigarette with a glare and tossed it in to a nearby dustbin. It

was all her fault.

What the hell was her problem? That Alice Nightray... She was always, always

mocking him. She always left behind a trail of mystery for him to attempt to

grasp.

Besides, what had been up when she had just crumpled to the floor the other

time? It... just wasn't normal, right? Argh, damn that stupid rabbit,

irritating him like that. Why did he have to be the one unable to stop

thinking about her all the time? Stupid...!

Serenity slid on his blue-tinted sunglasses, muttering under his breath.

Then his cellphone trilled, vibrating in his pocket. He jumped, his train of

thought effectively broken.

"Hello?"

"Serenity!" Ah, it was his mother.

He strolled down the streets, "Yes?"

"Why didn't you reply my texts? I was trying to contact you for so long!"

she frantically asked.

Serenity frowned, registering her hysterical tone. Had something happened?

"Mom, did something happen?"

His mother broke down, sobbing in to the mouth piece, "Rillianne...

Rillianne... She j-jumped off a building...! And... Oh, Serenity...!"

What?

Her wails cut off when Serenity dropped the phone, his toned form frozen.

Rillianne had...? Why?

"Oh, and Serenity? Be careful of the people near you."

It was her. It had to be her. That bitch!

Serenity's eyes burned with pure fury. He'll kill her. He set off running,

his pretty dress shoes smashing his cell phone in the process.

He'll kill her...!
