Battle (Liam Dunbar)

Chapter Eight

For some reason, the air in the house was full of hormones. Derek and Braeden were in his room, Klaus and his new girlfriend, Nikki, who was also a werewolf, were in his room, and Jayde was in her room with Liam.

Jayde lay on her back as Liam kissed her bare stomach and pushed her shirt up, exposing the rest of her stomach. His lips were cold against her skin but the sparks shooting through her body managed to distract her. She smiled as Liam lifted his head and then crawled up over her. Instead of kissing her, Liam pulled her shirt over her head leaving the top half of her body exposed.

Jayde sat up and panted a kiss on his lips as he sat on his knees in front of her. Her hands rested on his sides and Liam's hands grasped either side of her jaw. Jayde's heartbeat began to pick up speed as her hands slipped into the sides of his shorts. Her thumbs tickled his hips as their kiss deepened and the hormones in the air seemed to fly between the three rooms. Even in the dark Jayde and Liam could still see each other and the darkness surrounding them seemed to make the hormonal night even steamier.

Jayde lay back on the bed and pulled Liam down with her. Their lips were still locked as Liam gently rested his body on top of her. Jayde's fingers gently scraped down his arms as they continued to kiss, prolonging their night together.

"What are you doing to me?" Liam asked softly as he pulled back and looked down at Jayde.

"I'm not doing anything to you." Jayde replied as one of her fingers traced his jawline. Liam lowered his head and kissed her once more before he finally began to push his shorts and briefs down his legs. Jayde's back arched in an effort to help Liam pull her underwear off.

Jayde sat up and kissed Liam, her fingers dug into his side as his hands grasped her face once more. Liam then sat back causing Jayde to straddle his lap. A soft growl escaped Jayde's throat making Liam smirk.

"What was that?" He asked as his hands rested on Jayde's hips.

"The wolf in me is enjoying this as much as I am." Jayde kissed him once more, tugging on his bottom lip as another soft growl came out of her mouth. She pulled back exposing her blue eyes. "And she's getting very impatient." Jayde giggled as Liam pushed her back on the bed and leaned down. She smirked when Liam growled softly and kissed her as he slowly pushed into her. Another groan escaped his mouth as she dug her fingers into his back. Jayde forgot all about fearing Liam had feelings for Hayden as Liam kissed her while pulling out and pushing back in. Her arms frantically wrapped around his neck as his hands fisted the sheets on either side of her head.

Everything was quiet in the house the following morning. Everybody in the house was sleeping from their exhausting night. Jayde was lying on her stomach with Liam lying on his stomach beside her and his arm flung over her back.

Jayde started to stir and rubbed her face as she found herself beginning to wake up. She looked behind her to see Liam still fast asleep. Jayde smiled and rolled onto her back which seemed to wake Liam up. He groaned as he stretched his legs and his eyes finally opened.

"Morning handsome." Jayde greeted Liam and then placed a kiss on his forehead.

"Last night was...awesome." Liam replied as he smiled.

"Couldn't agree more. 'Cause the Heat's coming around." Liam looked at Jayde like she was crazy which made Jayde laugh. "Don't worry, I'm not gonna get pregnant like a dog or a wolf. The Heat is just simply a time of the year sort of like when a wolf goes into Heat except for my race of werewolves, our hormones just rise, that's all."

"So does this mean more time rolling around in the sheets?" Jayde rolled her eyes but nodded her head.

"Plenty more for about a week and a half." Jayde smirked knowing that Liam enjoyed every bit of it just as much as she did. "I heard Klaus and Nikki I think. Smells like they're cooking something." Liam and Jayde got out of bed. After getting dressed they walked downstairs to find Nikki sitting on the counter with Klaus standing in between her legs, the two of them kissing.
