Lucy pov

Pain. It's all I feel. The pain of a heart shattering into a billion pieces. It' s as if someone ripped out my heart. As if someone stabbed me and drained all my blood along with my will to live. As if my heart was pitch black and cold- as cold as the wind blowing on past my face. 

I felt tears roll down my pale cheeks but it seemed I wasn't awake.

~in her mind~

"Lucy, Lucy" a sudden voice rang 

Lucy was in the middle of an open field. The grass was a beautiful healthy green. A few flowers rising from the ground. It toke a while but Lucy finally remember this place. It were she was with Jackal and gave him a flower crown. He looked cute the crown stayed right in place due to his ears. Lucy was looking in the distance and there she was sitting with him. 

She couldn't help and smile. Even if they start off wrong, he got a hold of her heart. Then she heard her name once again...

"Lucy" she turned around and saw the one person she wished to see for so long

With tears in her eyes, "J-Jackal" 

He was only a few feet away from her. She couldn't help it she ran to him, tears flowing out. She threw herself towards him. He accepted her with his arms wide open. Making them fall onto the ground. They stay on the ground hugging for a while before sitting up next to each other. 

As he wiped her tears away, she asked "W-What are you doing here. I thought I lost you. Does that mean I'm... dead? I'm so happy to see you. But how??" 

"Don't worry. I came to visit. You didn't lose me and no you are not dead. I came here to tell you that I will see you soon. But that's impossible if you don't get better. I won't see that smile of your's. It may take a while. But I promise I will see you soon. But for now, I need you to wake up, get better, and live your live with your friends. Who are worried since you been asleep for almost six months"

"I promise. I will get better and I can't wait to see you. Promise me that, I won't ever lose you again. I miss you"

"I miss you too and I promise. When I see you again I won't leave" 

Lucy was happy. She finally got to see Jackal again and he gave her some good news. She promised him she would do what he asked. But for now she was happy they got to spend time together. In the same place she knew she loved him. Both laying down, looking up at the grass. His arm around her, her head using it as a pillow. While she hugged him.

~In the room~ 

"Lucy, you have to wake up" Rogue said holding her right hand

The door opened with Natsu and Master coming in

"Has anything new happened?" Master asked while Natsu sat at the other side of her

"No, sir" 

"Alright we will have her check again, but for now don't do anything stupid. Let her relax" he said making his way back to his office

"Come on, Luce. You have to wake up. It's been a long time but we need you"

They decided to wait for any movements but she was showing no sign of waking up. Mira came by around noon to offer lunch. So they went outside to the bar and be with the others for a while. During that whole time everyone asked them bunch of question. Since no one else was allowed in but them. But of course no new news about her.

It was around late at night. Natsu and Rogue still by Lucy side of course asleep. Everything seemed to be going normal. Until they felt her hand squezzing theirs. They jolt up thinking she was awake but it was just a reflex. The werid thing is that the machine (iv) was going crazy. Loud alarms could be heard through the room. Her heart beat was beating to fast for a human.
