"Ross? Is that you?" He was unconcious on the side of the road. I shook him a bit more. "ROSS!"

I know all of this is a bit weird, so allow me to explain. My name is Sarah, and my idols have been missing for 9 months. Yes, you heard me, missing. Right after R5's record deal with Hollywood Records ended, no one knew what happened. If I knew that it would come to this I would've paid more attention.

I was accepted into a college I applied for in California, and at the time I couldn't be happier, but now I don't even want to go. It's so far away from my home on the East Coast. When everyone goes home on the weekends, I'm one of the very few who stay on campus. I try to make it interesting though, like going to Starbucks every Saturday, and enjoying the local places. However, no matter what I do, I'm reminded of them. They ruled my life, and I have no idea where they went.

This morning I went to Starbucks, as usual, grabbed a coffee and left, taking a drive around Los Angeles for a bit. I quickly became lost, and before I knew it I saw a guy on the side of the road who looks exactly like Ross Lynch. I wasn't here to see what happened, but all I know is that he needs some serious help. I couldn't lift him, so I called a friend and she helped me lift him into my car. While we were lifting him into my backseat I thought for a minute. If he was Ross Lynch like I thought, he would be wearing his pick necklace. I peeked at his neck, and sure enough, it was there.

Needless to say, he was a bit alarmed when he woke up in my Los Angeles apartment the next day. He didn't talk at all, but sat up as quickly as he could and looked around for clues as to how he got there.

"Hey, look who finally decided to wake up. Good morning Ross."

"Who are you? Why am I here? Where am I? I won't go back. I won't go back to Colorado." I walked over to the couch where we put him. I reached out to feel his forehead and he jerked away from my reach.

"Woah slow down tiger. Just be happy I found you and not the paparazzi. I don't know what your plans are on hiding, but I know that you don't want that happening. Colorado? You're in Los Angeles." I introduced myself, and answered the rest of his questions.

After he ran out of questions to ask me, I got a text and my phone lit up. My lock screen was a collage of pictures of me and Ross from the days where I never missed a single R5 concert. Since they disappeared I haven't changed it. Ross saw it on the coffee table in front of us. I checked the text, replied, and put it down. He was staring at me weird.

"What?"

"I thought you looked familiar. You've really met me all of those times huh?" I could feel the heat rushing to my cheeks. I didn't answer, just avoided his gaze. "Hey. I don't think I got around to thanking you for what you did for me. Thanks. It's kind of a tough time for me right now."

"What happened?" It took him almost an hour to explain. There was a drop in record sales. Hollywood Records lost so much money that they had to cut their funding, and they had a reputation to keep. In order to keep everything a secret they threatened R5, and when they refused to give up on their fans, Hollywood Records shut everything down. They took down the website, an changed all of the passwords to R5's social media accounts. Mark moved everyone back to Colorado to hide from press attention, but Ross refused to become a nobody again. He snuck out of the house and drove all the way back to Los Angeles.

"I went out one night and that's all I can remember."

"Do you have an apartment?"

"Yeah, but I kinda don't want to go back." It stayed silent for a bit, just the both of us staring at the ground.

"What about a car?"

"I don't remember where I parked it last."

"What if there was a way to get R5 back together again? Would you do it?"

"Definitely, but my dad doesn't want to mess with Hollywood Records, and Rydel and the boys wouldn't go against him. There's nothing I can do." He had genuine hope in his eyes. The one thing about Ross I've missed the most was his enthusiasm, and that got me thinking.

"Ross, can you help me with something?"
