Ross covered my eyes and led me from behind. The scream of the crowd gave away where he was leading me, and my heart raced. The stage lights hit my face, and every fan in the crowd screamed at the top of their lungs. Ross took his hands away from my eyes, and I was looking right at all of them. It was the biggest arena on tour, and thousands of people waited for the next move. He stepped forward to his mic. "This is Sarah." He paused and thought for a minute. The crowd raged on and cheered.
Mark was on the side of the stage, motioning frantically for Ross to hold his tongue, to introduce me as a manager. Instead, Ross went on, knowingly disobeying his father. Mark screamed into his in-ears. Ross ripped them out, and so did the rest of R5. "This is Sarah, and we've been dating for the past year." The crowd cheered, camera phones recording every last second of this announcement.
He wrapped his arms around me protectively, and I couldn't help but smile as he kissed my cheek, and the fans went insane. Riker turned to the two of us, and spoke carefully into his mic. "Now, we're going to sing a song we wrote a couple months back, and you guys are the first to hear it! Who's excited?"
Rocky left the stage to grab a chair, and positioned it in front of Rydel and Ellington, behind the boys. Rydel handed me earplugs, and I put them in. Ross smiled at me and started the first chord. The whole song was about me, down to the last detail. The building shook with cheering. When the song finished, I was in tears, and Ross came up to me and led me to the front of the stage. I hung my arms around his hips and kissed him on the lips for the crowd. The cheering was incredible. The rest of R5 came up to the front of the stage, including Ryland, and they bowed to the crowd with me in the middle. Walking off together, I've never loved anyone more.
When we were finally in the bus that night, Mark was furious, and Stormie was nowhere to be seen. "I thought I told all of you that you were not to tell the fans about your relationship."
Everyone was silent. Riker finally spoke up. "They're our family, Dad. You've said it yourself. We told you, so we should tell them." Mark shook his head.
"That's different. It's not like tha-"
"Then what is it? Family means family, and our fans have been there more than anyone has in our life. Despite the lack of fame and despite the abundance of it. Sarah was a fan, and she's been here for us when you weren't." Riker argued. Mark couldn't find words. Riker went on. "If it weren't for her, we wouldn't have moved out to persue the dream that you wouldn't let us have back. This is our dream, and it took Sarah to realize that you should support us now like you did before." Mark ditched us for the back room. Stormie came onto the bus just as Mark slammed the door, and sat on the couch next to me.
"I heard the whole thing." She started. No one wanted to talk about it. "Thank you Riker, for speaking my point." She took out Mark's mic from her pocket and I noticed that Riker still had his in-ears in. The whole time Stormie was fueling his speech. Looking around, everyone in the room was in shock. "My little soldier." She ran her hand through Riker's hair, and he kissed her cheek.

Someone shook me awake in the middle of the night. It was pitch black, and the bus stopped moving. I turned away from the wall, and was face-to-face with a pair of familiar hazel eyes, glowing softly, only inches from mine. Ross. "What?"
"C'mon. I have something I want to show you." Carrying me out of my bunk and through the bus door, he put my feet down on the concrete outside. The bus driver was leaning against the bus, eyes closed.
"What-"
"Sh. Follow me." He silenced me, just as the warm glow of the sun invaded the air. Leading me to the back of the bus, he made me climb the ladder on the back. We were on the roof of the tour bus, just in time to watch the sunrise. The sun began to peek over the horizon, and Ross drew me close to him. I rested my head on his shoulder, as streams of sunlight took over the night sky and turned it light blue. It was a war, night vs. day, and day was winning, covering the sky with lighter shades of blue. The stars faded, one by one, and it startled me when Ross pressed his lips to my cheek. I jumped, and he giggled. "See that?" He asked. I nodded. "That sunrise wishes that it was as beautiful as you."
I heard the tour bus door open, and I called to the people coming out. Rydel, Ellington, Rocky, Riker, Stormie, Ryland...and Mark. Everyone was outside, and everyone was already dressed. They backed away from the bus, smiling up at us, and not saying a word. They definitely weren't here for the sunrise, because that was over.
"Hey Ross, why are they staring at us like tha-" I turned to look at Ross and stopped. I knew why. He was no longer sitting cross legged next to me. He was no longer watching the sun. Instead, he was looking at the way the warm summer breeze blew my hair, and how the sun made my eyes sparkle. in the dim morning light. He saw past my imperfections, and focused on the things that made me beautiful. I knew what was happening. I covered my face, and the tears came pouring out. It was then, that Ross Shor Lynch was on the top of a tour bus with me, on one knee, holding a ring in his hands.
"Sarah, will you marry me?"
