Ross shoved his way through the hospital room door. He saw me in my tank top, my arm wrapped in medical tape, and rushed over to me as fast as he could. He leaned over to kiss me on the forehead and tell me everything was going to be okay, but I stood up instead of letting him look down on me. I was alright. Nothing was wrong with me except for my arm. That's it.

He was shocked that I could stand, but I was alright. That's all I would tell him when he asked about the crash. All I was waiting for was for him to turn around and see my hero. Ry was fast asleep, breathing normally, just banged up a little more. Ross gave me a weak hug, apparently too afraid to squeeze me. I would've been alright if he hugged me tighter but he refused.

Rydel automatically rushed to Ryland's bedside, touching his face and feeling his forehead.

"Ryland?" She asked, hoping for an answer.

"He saved me from most of the glass, and the airbag. It was a minor crash. I wouldn't be this strong if it wasn't for him." Ross then turned around to see his little brother. Ryland opened his eyes a little bit, but didn't seem to see Rydel or Ross. He only wanted me, and the sleeping gas he was on made it almost impossible to figure out what he wanted me for.

"Sarah." His voice was clear as day now.

"Not yet." Ross whispered to Rydel as he led her out of the room.

"Yeah Ry?" I asked, stepping closer to the bed.

"We're leaving soon, right?" What was he talking about?

"Are you kidding me? You're not ready for that yet."

"I can make it, just help me a little." He sat up, and swung his legs over the side of the bed. Motioning for me to be his crutch, I stood over next to him, and he wrapped his arm around my shoulder. I put my arm around his torso, and I led him out. The nurse coming in almost had a heart attack. "We're ready to go." he told her. The nurse walked right down the hall, and we kept going. Ross and Rydel came from down the hallway, and as soon as Ross saw me holding up his brother, he tried to replace me.

"That's your bad arm! Let me do it!" He argued.

"No. I have it." I couldn't let him baby me. Again, he refused to let me be independent. He took Ryland's other shoulder and walked quietly along. Rydel took the lead, and like a team, we checked out of the hospital and left. We didn't make the band meeting, obviously. Helping Ryland up the stairs was tough, but when we got into the apartment, finding Riker and Rocky was simple.

"Hey Rydel! Did you hear about the car cra-" Riker stopped when he saw Ryland and I. Rocky came out of Riker's room and stopped dead in his tracks when his path was cut off. Ryland got placed on the couch, sitting up, and we all sat around the area. We really needed to talk.

I sat between Ross and Ryland, and Rydel explained slowly about the events that took place that morning. "Why would you guys go behind our backs like that? Why would you sign with Capitol after we voted AS A TEAM for no?"

Rocky shook his head. "We never went to Capitol Records today. We took the contract with us to Menchie's so we could read it over and ask them to fix things or no deal.

"What?!" I was in shock, but then realized that we had no other proof saying that they had gone to Capitol Records besides the missing contract. I've just been stupid this whole day. First I assumed something ridiculous, then got into a car accident because I couldn't take my time. The whole room was quiet. It stayed like that for a couple minutes, until I gathered the courage to break the silence. "This is all my fault."

"No it's not." Ross was the first to answer. "We're a team. It's everyone's fault."

"Are we really?" Ellington added. He stayed at the apartment when Ross and Rydel went to the hospital. No one really noticed he was on the couch all along. His answer summoned the silence again.

"We aren't really thinking as a team anymore," Riker started. "So we should start thinking like a team again."

"Really Riker? How do you expect us to do that? No one's ever on the same page anymore." Ellington countered.

"Everyone comes together in the music. You've said it yourself, Rydel." She nodded. "Guys, grab your instruments. Sarah, pick up your phone and book things again. We're doing a shut-in." Riker was the first to open the door and head downstairs. Everyone followed his lead, and they locked themselves in the studio. I looked at Ryland in the now abandoned upper level. Time to get serious.
