"Sarah! Hey! I found it!" I was on my way out of class when Ross pulled up in his Dodge Challenger. I rushed up to the side of the car and got in. "Woah there, don't you have your own car?"

"Yeah, but how many times am I going to get to ride with Ross Lynch in his Dodge Challenger?" He rolled his eyes.

"Happy?" He giggled. "Let's go, come on." He stepped on the gas and headed for my apartment. He slammed on the breaks when we got there, and by then, the wind had blown my hair into tethers. "So, how will we get your car back from the college parking lot?"

"Um, I guess Mr. Ross Lynch will have to drive me again." He shook his head and smiled.

"You're a mess." He shook up my hair and walked me up the steps to the door with his guitar case in his hands. I finished up on my homework and came out to the living room to see him on the couch, staring off into space and tapping his foot nervously. I sat next to him as quietly as I could and he looked over at me. "How are we going to do this?" He looked down at his feet quietly.

"That doesn't sound like the Ross Lynch I know" I wrapped my arm around him. "Getting them to start making music again is simple. It's the fans that don't come easy. Luckily for you, you've done this before, right? Text Ryland first." He picked up his phone, began to text then stopped.

"I can't. There's no convincing Dad. There's no secretly moving out without him knowing where they went. I can't do this. I can't do this to any of them." He got up and headed for the front door.

"Ross-" He stepped outside and shut the door behind him. I got up as quickly as I can and raced to the door, swinging it open, and almost stepping on him. He was sitting on the step. "Ross. Listen-"

"I'm just going to go back. Sell my apartment, and go back to Colorado. I can't do this. I have no idea why I thought I would try."

"Don't go back. This is your dream. I really want to help you get your fame back. Please, do it for me?" He shook his head and walked up to his car.

"I'm sorry." He hopped into his car and drove off. As if all of my wildest dreams for the last decade just drove out of my life. I lingered in the driveway for as long as it took for me to move on. I could've been there forever, but I had to sleep for college. I headed back into my house after around ten minutes and went to bed.

It was a couple weeks before I could swear on seeing Ross again. I saw him everywhere. The grocery store, on TV, everywhere. I saw him in my dreams and when I woke up. Just everywhere. It was insane. I was going insane. When I was coming out of class and a Dodge Challenger was parked in front of the building, I seriously thought I lost it. However, as soon as I assumed that, the window rolled down and it was him. He talked to me. "Sarah! Get in! I really need to talk to you!"

It was really Ross, it had to be, but I ignored it, telling myself I was going insane. He called after me, but I kept walking. It took me until he got out of the car and grabbed my shoulder to finally accept that he's real. He wasn't just a dream, he was real, in front of my eyes. "Sarah. Please." He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me as tight as he could.

"Get a grip Sarah. Really. It's just your imagination." I walked out of the hug and more towards my car in the back of the lot.

"No, stop. Please. I'm real. I'm the real Ross! Come here!" I closed my eyes, counted to three, and turned around, expecting for this dream to end and Ross to vanish into thin air. Except this time he didn't. He rushed up right before me again. I kept walking, and tried to ignore the fact he was there, or wasn't there. I wasn't even sure anymore. I was all a waking nightmare. It's never him. However, something made me think this time it wasn't my brain. I turned after a couple steps.

"Ross?"

"C'mere." He held his arms up, and sure enough I ran right into them. "Am I real enough for you now?"
