Minerva crawled out of bed as the sun was just peaking over the trees. She took off her silky nightgown and threw on her old clothes. She ripped them up a little, to make it look like she fought.
She then went over to a desk that was in Lucy's room. She opened a few drawers and soon found pen, ink and paper.
She took a deep breath. She was about to do the hardest thing in the world... and that was saying good bye to a friend.
She let out her breath and dipped the pen in the ink. She then began her letter.
Dear Lucy-Nii-Chan,
I'm sorry I'm not here anymore. I had to leave. My father will hurt you if he finds out you helped me.
I don't want my older sister, and friend to be hurt because of me...I promise to become stronger...So I can protect you in the future...
But, I need to tell you something...The reason I was out there in the woods was because my father left me there to fight.
He only believes in power. I don't, and so I'm going to become stronger so that way I can defeat him, and protect everyone from his harsh ways.
I love you.
I will see you again.
Love Minerva
Tears fell onto the paper as Minerva put away the pen and ink. She put on her shoes and went over to the window. She looked back at Lucy.
She looked like an angel sleeping. Waiting for her true love to save her. Her blonde hair flowed around her perfectly. The rays of sun seeping in through the window made a small halo around her head.
Minerva held back anymore tears as she opened the window. She was only two stories up. She took a deep breath and jumped.
But, she didn't land horribly. She landed as quite as a mouse. She looked up at the window to see the wind blowing the white curtons softly.
She looked away and ran to the woods that surrounded the house. She was soon taken by the trees coverage as the sun made it over the mountains that created a barrier around the little kingdom.
Minerva began to have scratches wound their way onto her arms and lefts. Tears streamed down as her legs grew tired.
I love you Lucy, she thought as she made it to the meeting point. There stood her father. She sucked up her tears and walked towards him. Proudly. She would grow stronger.
She would protect Lucy.
