Lucy had been in the dragon realm for over 3 weeks, and she was as happy as ever. He had friends. The Dragons. She was so happy.
Nothing could take her happiness away.
But, on Earthland her father was angry. Angry at himself, for not being able to help his daughter. Everyone believed Lucy had died or had run away. The news traveled fast across the land.
Everyone heard. They sent search teams out across the lands. They were going to find her.
But, no one could. It was as though she had disappeared right off the face of the earth.\
Minerva had heard of what happened to Lucy. But the young girl wasn't worried. Lucy had sent a letter than only she could read.
Lucy told Minerva she'd gone into hiding, and that shed'd try to stay in touch. So Minerva just trained, harder each day.
At Fairy Tail, they were worried about the missing child. But, did nothing. What could they do? No one could find any trace.
But, one person. One person was braking. The Master. He cried for his granddaughter. No one knew why though. No one knew it was his granddaughter. Fairy Tail tried to comfort him. But, he would instead hide in his office.
He wasn't the only one. Laxus was upset too. He might've hated her, but he still loved her. He loved her so much and now she was gone. Gone forever. Again people tried to comfort him, but he'd glare hard at them.
Natsu watched Laxus. He didn't know what was upsetting him, but he did know that there was something wrong. He just didn't know what.
Just something wasn't right.
But, far across the land Sting and Rogue were waking up. The were in a forest, on Earthland. They had no memory of their real past. They had other memories. Other ones that were lies.
And in the Kingdom, Hisui woke up too. And so did Yukino. Just like everyone else, their memories were replaced.
They thought they had only been asleep for a nap, but no they had been asleep for two years. And now the seven year difference was placed. And the good times were forever gone.
"Lucy try it again!!!" A man with red hair yelled. Lucy was panting hard. She has sweat trailing down her arms and legs. Lucy was tired, She was training with Igneel.
Her mother told her that she had to learn all Top dragon slaying magic, and every other magic that exits. "Yes Igneel!!" She yelled as she stood up. She would not back down.
She took a deep breath and let it. "Fire Dragons Roar!!!!" She yelled as fire shot out of her mouth, burning trees down. Igneel clapped his hands. "Very good now do it again!! More force this time!!" he yelled.
And Lucy did it again, and again. Until finally she mastered the roar. "Very good, Lucy. Now next week you'll fight me one on one. This will show me if you are ready to go onto the next piece of magic." Igneel said walking up to Lucy.
He held out his hand and helped her up. "Thank you Igneel again. Am I as good as Natsu?" She asked. Igneel nodded his head.
Lucy was told about the Dragon slayers. But, only that they were adopted and in Earthland. She was told that there were five. Lucy wasn't told the truth of course. Only that they were children that they had to leave behind since their magic was running low.
"You're probably better. Now go in side it's time for dinner and your mother won't be happy if you're late again." Igneel said pushing Lucy towards the castle. "Yeah, because you keep in train to long!!" Lucy winned.
Igneel huffed. Lucy smiled. "Well, thank you Igneel!! See you tomorrow!!" Lucy said, as she ran towards her castle.
Igneel smiled. He was happy to train someone again. But, was still sad about Natsu and the others. If only she knew.... he thought as he went home himself.
Lucy happily went to her room to get changed. She was sweaty and dirty from today's training and was so happy to just jump in the bath and relax. She was only 10 years old, and she felt like a teen ager.
As she soaked in the warm bath filled with bubbles, she heard a knock on her door. "Who's there?" She called. A maid opened the door. "Miss. Lucy it's time for dinner." The maid said.
Lucy nodded her head and shewed the maid away. When she stepped she became cold. She wanted to stay in the bath longer, but dinner was ready so she had to get out.
She went to her closet and grabbed a light pink dress that went to her knees, and had sleeves that went to her elbows. She put on her black one inch heals and put her wet hair in a messy bun.
She didn't feel like dealing with since she'd just hop into be bed after dinner. She opened her door, and walked down the hall. Soon she made it to the large brown doors that led her into the dinning room.
"Hello mother!" Lucy called as she opened the doors and walked in, and sat next to her mother. "Hello Lucy! How was training?" Layla asked as she took a bite of her food. "It went great! I have my final exam next week!" Lucy cheered.
Layla smiled at her child. She was happy that Lucy was happy and having fun. Although she was very jealous that she was getting to learn more magic, but she was still proud of her young little girl.
"Lucy are you happy here?" Layla asked. Lucy looked up at her mother. "Why of course! I have friends even if they are older than me! It's fun!" Lucy chirped. Layla nodded. "Have you talked to Ren or sky?" She asked.
Lucy shock her head. "No they're mean and Ren is a perv." Lucy huffed. Layla laughed at her daughter comment. "Okay I was just making sure you were happy, my dear." Layla replied.
Lucy smiled right back her mother.
Soon Lucy went to bed, and she dreamed all night.
Her mind calm, but full of hope and love and dreams of the future.
Thank you. Was her last thought before she drifted to sleep.
