Luke's pov

As soon as she hangs up and gives my phone back to me, it rings again with Jason's number. I confusedly answer it. "Dude, meet me at the bar." He says that one sentence then hangs up. He's one weird cowboy but I'll see what's up.

Jason's pov

I pace the length of the bar before his big black jacked up truck shows up. He jumps out, all happy and excited. It only pisses me off that this chick is just messing with him. "What's up, dude?" I'm about to say it when she gets out too! I get all choked up. "Alone man! Jeez!" I grumble, grabbing his arm and pulling him away from her.

Luke's pov

"What are you doing with her again?" I sigh and glance back to the beautiful blonde girl. He snaps. "Man, focus! What the heck is going on?!" "Cool it bro. There's nothing wrong with her or us... Not anymore. We cleared it all up!" "Noth-Nothing wrong?! Are you nuts!" I laugh. "Maybe a little, man." I wave and walk back to Caroline.

Jason's pov

She better not hurt him again. I walk into the bar and order a shot of Jack. I jump slightly when Caroline sits beside me, looking pissed off. "Where's Luke?" I ask, finally getting my drink. I down it in seconds, ordering another. "Keep out of our business, cowboy." I nearly choke on my shot, looking over at the girl. I recover and shoot back, "Hurt my friend and it becomes my business princess. You may think you're untouchable, Miss high and mighty but let me get a hold of ya after you hurt him again, you're gonna wish you stayed in Texas!" She glares at me and walks away towards the bathroom. "What a bitch." I mutter. I kinda wish we didn't find her.

Luke's pov

I walk out of the bathroom to Caroline waiting for me. I smile, my arms instantly finding her waist. "We are perfect for each other." She whispers. "I'm so glad you decided to stay." I say, kissing her. She bites my lip and twists her fingers in my hair.

Jason's pov

God those two! Is he kidding me?! "Yo Luke get a damn room fool!" I call. They don't even hear me. At least they stop smashing each other in the bar. He sits down beside me, her beside him and orders two beer and I'm on my sixth shot of jack. Probably should call it quits but I'm so pissed off I don't even care. "Hey Jase, do ya have a designated?" "Yeah I'll just call Miranda when I'm done." Caroline whispers something to him. "Well we're gonna head out. See ya later buddy." I nod. They leave. "I hope." I whisper, glaring at the bar.

Luke's pov

I'm in redneck heaven. "You're a sexy beast." I whisper, kissing her lips as she lays on my arm. She turns on her side, resting a hand on my chest. "Can you tell that friend of yours to leave us alone. He threatened me tonight." My eyes go wide. "J-Jason threatened you?" I gape shocked. She nods. "I will definitely have to talk to him."

*the next day*

Jason's pov

I get out of the studio and have a voicemail from Luke. I answer it. "We gotta talk. When you get a chance swing by my place, if ya don't mind." I wonder what he wants. I text Miranda saying I'll be later than usual then I head to Luke's. Luckily Miss Priss isn't here. He doesn't look happy though. "Ugh man did she leave ya again?" I grumble, trying not to get annoyed. "No, she's out getting something for dinner. She told me you threatened her last night! What the hell man!?" Huh? Threatened her? I don't remember doing that! "I didn't! She's lying!" I gasp. "Oh really? She recorded it!" Shit! He clicks a button on her phone. "Hurt my friend and it becomes my business princess. You may think you're untouchable, Miss high and mighty but let me get a hold of ya after you hurt him again, you're gonna wish you stayed in Texas!" Crap. "Dude, I had like six shots of jack. I was out of it man!" But I meant every word. I just don't want Luke ticked off at me. "She was crying last night. I don't want to lose her. She completes me!" "I'm sorry, Luke. I'll apologize if you want me to." I hear her car pull up. "She's here now. Perfect timing." He says. Ugh I really don't wanna do this! I turn around as she opens the door. Evil glare. She already doesn't like me. What's apologizing gonna do other than kick my dignity down? I glance at Luke with pleading eyes but he just nods to her. I sigh. "I'm sorry I threatened you, Caroline. I was half drunk and I shouldn't have said what I said." She smiles as if this is a huge victory for her. This girl makes my blood boil. "Thanks, that makes me feel a lot better." I bite back a rude fireback. "We still up for the bonfire right, Luke?" I ask. "Of course." "Then I'm gonna jet." And ignore this embarassing scene for the rest of my life. I get back home, trying not to be pissed.

Luke's pov

"I don't like him." She says, suddenly her happy demeanor changed. "Well he's my best friend. He ain't goin' nowhere." I say. She glares at the floor. "I'll try for you, Luke." I smile. "That's my girl."
