"2 things. First of all, happy Birthday. Secondly, why are you late?" Said Claire, Siren's best and only friend. She wore a black shirt and blue jeans and white shoes. She was the pretties girl in the school but she only cared about her grades and Siren.

"The same reason as always, my mother." Siren mumbled as they walked into the school.

"Considering the fact that she is a lawyer I would think that she would take you to school on time." said Claire.

"Well she doesn't, okay." Siren yelled as she turned around to Claire.

"I'm sorry. I'm just having the best day, ok. But I know that when I'm with you everything will be fine." Cried Siren

"Hey don't cry. Please. You know I won't leave you. I know what happened on your birthday and I always help you get through it." Claire said as she started to tear up. They hugged each other so tight as if it was going to be the last time they saw each other.

"So do you think your mom is going to throw you a bigger party than last year?" Claire said as they walked toward precalculous. Siren said nothing because they both knew that her mom would. They had both walked into class late so eveyone started at them as if they were aliens from another planet.

"Claire, Siren, late as always." Mrs. Garcia had said as she rolled her eyes. Just like she did every morning.

"By the way happy birthday, Siren." Mrs. Garcia whispered as she gave a smerk to Siren.
