Finally, it was lunch. The only time Siren and Claire loved about school. The two best friends sat in their seats just like they did everyday. The corner of the nerd table was the only place they were accepted. Half way through lunch Claire was called up to the office. That was the last time Siren saw her that day.

Siren just sat there with her hoodie covering her. The only time she would look up was when she would look up to check the time. Still 15 minutes of lunch to go.

Siren was about to get up when some guy comes to sit with her. No words came out if her mouth. After so long of silence he spoke.

" Hi my is Andy. Andy Padilla." He said with such confidence.

"Siren. Siren Mays." She whispered. She did not need to look up to know who Andy was. He was the captain of the football team.

The only thought that ran through Siren's mind was that it was a joke. It had to be. Why else would the captain of the football team be talking to one of the ghost of the school.

She did not know what to do she just sat there hoping he would go away and he would take the awkward feeling between them with him.

"Ummmm Hello anybody there." He shouted as he waved his hand in front of her face. She had blanked out. She did not realize that this whole time he was trying to get her attention.

"So I hear it's your 16 birthday today. You going to do anything special?" He asked but had got no response.
