"We...we have...to get...back...to the castle," Emma managed between heavy breaths. She was very distracted, Killian was kissing her neck going back up to her mouth.

Their lips gave off a hungry passionate kiss. After what seemed like a second to Emma, he began to trail soft kisses down her neck.

"We have all the time in the world," Killian anwsered leaving mire kisses on Emma's jaw. She put her hands on his chest pushing him a way even if every fiber in her being was screaming to kiss him again, "We have to go back."

"Why?" He stared in her eyes just begging her to stop talking so he could kiss her again.

"We just do," Emma pulled him off completely and walked around him to the bridge. Killian didn't say another word and followed after his princess.

On the walk there, Emma stayed quite with her eyes ahead and Killian gave her worried glances every two seconds. Had he gone too far? Did he over step his boundaries with Emma? All those questions and more swirled in Killian's head.

Meanwhile Emma was fixed on herself. Last night she admitted that she hated the arranged marriage. Although she never said she never wanted to be queen. Emma was torn between being a pirate with Killian or a Queen...alone. She loved her parents and their kingdom but the freedom and the joy she felt when she was aboard the Jolly Roger was immeasurable. Of course that feeling was in no comparison to what she felt when Killian kissed her. Emma was truely and utterly indecisive.

In the first minute that Killian and Emma entered the castle, she ran off to her room. Killian excuse them both and went after her. He came to her door barging in, not bothering to knock.

"Emma, if this is about that kiss then-"

"I want to queen." Emma said bluntly. Killian's face dropped. He almost wished that it was about their shared moment.

"But I thought you wanted to be a pirate, to be with me." Killian looked to the floor wondering if what she said last night was true.

"I did, I still do but my parents. My parents are counting on me, I can't just leave him." Emma stepped to Killian but he stepped away.

"But you would leave me?" His eyes met Emma's watery emerald orbs.

"No, I don't want to but-"

"Then don't," he stepped to Emma and she let him, "Emma you could be a pirate and sail all the seas of the realms with me and the crew. Our whole lives could be the adventure you always wanted." Killian sounded so unlike himself, he was so optimistic, so hopeful.

"Killian, I..."

"Emma, you said you didn't want to go back," his optimism dropped with each word.

"I said alot of things, Killian, some that I didn't mean. I'm sure you've done that too, right? Made promises you couldn't keep nor intended to keep? Killian, I am not as naive as most people take me for!" By now Emma's past was coming to surface, "You should just leave like I know you will!" She was full on sobbing, tears staining her face as they dried.

Killian knew this wasn't about him or being queen. He engulfed her in his arms as tight as he could. Emma let herself be held and cried into his chest. Killian stroked her hair with his good hand while moving his left arm in a circular motion.

"Who hurt you, love?" He whispered softly in her hair leaving a kiss on her forehead.

Emma sighed and backed out of his hold. She grabbed his hand and led Killian to the bed. He sat down as did Emma, fairly close to him too.

"I think I should tell you about my past." Emma shut her eyes sighing.

"Emma, you don't need to," Killian wanted to know but he didn't want to push her.

"No, I want to. After all, you did share with me." Emma gave him a weak smile and began with a sigh, "His name, or at least the name he told me, was Neal. I met him on my 18th birthday, at my ball actually. My father introduced me to him, he was a few years older than me and claimed he was from a different realm. At the time, I couldn't care less. But he asked me for a dance. My mother was right behind me and accepted for me. I danced with him..." a lump started to form in her throat, "and I fell for him. He left right after telling me to meet him the next night behind the walls of the palace. I was too excited to sleep that night. When I met him again, he told me he loved me and I was prepared to say the same....but he kept talking. He told me he had to go on a trip and that he would return in 3 months time," the lump in Emma's trying thoat had choked her up, "I waited those three month but he never came."

"Emma..." Killian didn't know what to stay and Emma hadn't even finished yet.

Emma ignore his calling her name and continued, "After a year, he came back. As hurt as I was, I agreed to see him. I thought maybe he could explain." She had to puase again, "Neal apologized several times and to tell you the truth I was thinking of forgiving him. But that wasn't all. He told me about his...his new wife, Wendy. When he left for my kingdom she was gravely sick, but when he went back to her she was we healed and she was pregnant. They had a....they have a son. And he told me, even after all of that mess, he still loved me. I slapped him across the face and had the guards kick him out. I never saw him again." Emma let go of her welled up tears the second Killian pulled her close.

"Emma, I...don't know what to say." He truly didn't.

"You don't have to say anything," she smiled in his chest, "just hold me."

And he did. Killian held Emma like it was the last time he would ever hold her in his life.

"Always, love, always" he rested his chin on her head as they both felt in to a comfortable quiet.
