Enma opened her eyes. She saw a high ceiling with a custom crystal chandelier.

"Killian..." she muttered.

Emma sat up and looked around the room. Her room. Everything was where it was when she left. Even the small amount of blood on the floor from Hook's knock out.

"No," Emma gasped tearing up, "no! No! Killian!" She screamed in her sobbs. He didn't come for her. He didn't care. He left her to die.

"Emma!" Snow ran in, "Oh, Emma! You're awake." She went to hug her daughter but Emma backed away.

"Where is Killian?" She asked through tears.

"Who?"

"Killian. Killian Jones," Emma explained further. The confused look on Snow's face only frustrated her, "Captain Hook! Where is Hook?!"

Snow smiled politely, "Honey, I think you need to rest. You're delusional." Once again, Snow moved closer to Emma and Emma backed away again.

"Don't." Emma put her hand out, "Where is my father?"

"Emma, I'm here." Charming came in, "what's the matter?"

"Hook, bring me Captain Hook!" Emma yelled, "I want to see him now!"

Charming stepped foward, "Emma, calm down. You aren't thinking straight."

"I'm not thinking straight? Who the hell are you too tell me I'm not thinking straight? What did you do to Hook?" Emma shouted at them.

"I am your father! You will not speak to me that way!"

Emma raised a brow, "Fine, if tell to me...I'll go to him."

She raised her hand to poof herself to the Jolly Roger but nothing happened. Emma concentrated on her love for Killian but still nothing happened. As her arm fell slowly to her side, Emma saw it. She saw the black leather cuff on her wrist restricting her magic. Emma looked at her parents in disbelief.

"How?" She shook her head, "How can you do this to your own daughter?! How can you be so cruel as to rip my only happiness away?!"

"We didn't rip anything from you." Charming said flatly, "Do you really think a pirate fell in love with you? He didn't put up a fight. He didn't care."

"What?"

"Emma, he didn't even bother to help me find you." Charming explained moving foward.

"You're lying!" Emma shouted.

"I wish I was, Emma, I wish I was. I begged ams pleaded but he said he couldn't care less."

Emma stayed silent as the tears poured down her cheeks. He really didn't care... she thought.

One Year Later Aboard The Jolly Roger...

Killian gulped down the last of his rum. He tried to forget about Emma, but I was impossible. He considered sleeping with numerous women again but he could never, ever do that to Emma. He loved her and nothing or no one could replace her.

A man unwilling to fight for what he wants...deserves what he gets...

Killian wants Emma. He needs her. If he doesn't fight for her, he deserves nothing but suffering and endless torment.

Killian slamed the rum glass on his desk so hard that it shattered to peices. He didn't give a damn about his code or having good form. He wanted Emma and Captain Hook will get what he wants.

"Smee!"

"Yes, cap'n?"

"Set course for the Enchanted Forest." Hook ordered.

As Smee left, Killian laid on the bed he once shared with Emma. "I'm coming, my love." He whispered to himself.

In The Enchanted Forest...

"The wedding is tomorrow night, Emma." Snow reminded her daughter.

"Yes, I know." She responded coldly while looking out to sea.

Emma had changed since her 'rescue'. She was closed off and distant. Her free time was spent standing at her balcony watching the waves. She developed the demeanor of a queen...of Regina almost. Emma couldn't care less what people said about her. She didn't pay much attention to her own mother.

"It is my wedding, mother." Emma reminded Snow moving from the balcony, "Did you send an invitation to Regina?"

Snow whipped her head around, "Are you crazy?"

"No, I'm perfectly sane." Emma responded with all seriousness.

"Emma, that woman is not attending your wedding. That's final."

Emma crossed her arms, "Do you hear yourself? My wedding. Regina is coming. That's final." She walked out if the room and poofed to Regina's castle.

About a month after the 'rescue', Emma's little brother removed the cuff so her magic is up and running.

"Emma, come in." Regina welcomed her, "How are you?"

"Ugh, my mother has exhausted me with the wedding." Emma groaned sitting down, "Which by the way, I informed her of you going."

"How did she take it?"

"About as well as you'd expect. But nonetheless, my wedding, my guests." Emma shrugged sitting on a plush couch in front of Regina.

"Who are you marrying anyway?" She grinned leaning forward.

"I don't know," Emma laughed, "I don't really care. As long as I rule, it won't matter."

"That's the spirit!" Regina laughed applauding her on.

Emna smiled as her hands subconsciously made their way to her necklace. The necklace with the ring Killian gave her- no, the ring he proposed with. She always wore it. At times it was to remind her of how happy she could be, other times it would haunt her with memories of Killian.

"Emma?" Regina snapped her fingers.

"Yeah?" She came into focus.

Regina painted a sympathetic look on her face, "Are you thinking of...the pirate again?"

Regina knew the whole story. She was the only person who understood what Emma was going through. Their happiness was taken away. They grew close because of it.

Emma stood up, "No...no, I just remembered I have, um, napkins to look at."

Before Regina said goodbye, Emma left. She poofed into her room just in time for a single tear to fall from her left eye. Emma leaned on her balcony and put her face in her hands.

She sighed, "I can't believe that after this long I still think of you. Why can't I forget about you, Killian?"

"Perhaps for the same reason I can't forget about you, love."
