Let's Sail Away, Love

Chapter 18: Happy

Killian wrapped his arms around her and held her tight. Emma snaked her arms around his neck and smiled between each kiss. Emma was happy. Killian was happy. They were happy together.

"I'm happy," Killian smiled, "I never thought I would be happy again."

"I'm glad you found happiness in me and I in you. I'm happy too." She pecked his lips once more.

"We should probably get going, the celebration is far from over but we do leave port bright and early tomorrow," Killian grabbed Emma's hand and pulled her to the castle.

"Okay, okay. But I do want to go home."

Killian stopped. He faced her with a face full of heart break and sorrow. It killed Emma to even say that but she wasn't finished.

"I just want to tell my parents that I found someone that makes me happy, that I found someone I love." Emma beamed. She squeezed Killian's hand as he let out a breath.

"Swan, as much as I love you, and I do, your parents might not love me as much. I did attempt against your father's life many years ago. He might not be so happy about this."

"Who cares how they feel? It only matters how we feel. And right now, I'm in love with you."

"Oh so only for now?" Killian teased with a smirk.

"Maybe," Emma teased back, two could play that game, "I love you now, and I will always."

"I love you too." Killian chuckled.

"So it's out last day in Corona, and I want to see it a little more. And I want to know everything about this place. Can you help with that or should I just find some other devilishly handsome pirate to give me the tour?"

"Oh, I don't know where you find one." Killian chuckled he offered his arms to Emma,"Shall we go then?"

Emma took it proudly and smiled, "We shall."

Killian and Emma walked around the lantern light. The villagers were all celebrating at the party Rapunzel invited them to. Maybe it was her birthday but she wanted to celebrate with everyone she cares for.

"The night is so beautiful, I am enjoying this alot." Emma leaned her head on Killian's shoulder.

"Marry me." Killian blurted out.

Emma brought her head out and stared at him. She was speechless. Wide eyed and speechless.

"Look I know it's sudden and maybe it's soon but-"

"Yes."
