I accepted Shawn's invitation to the party. My lies have to be believable. I am sure I have a dress somewhere in my closet so I decided to not shop for one. I am not in the mood and I don't want to spend any money right now. When I got home I was suprised to see a lady and a girl sitting on our couch.

They turned to me and smiled when I walked through the door. My mom asked me to say hi to our new neighbors. That would explain the moving trucks outside. The house next to ours was twice the size of ours. Our house is two stories and it has four rooms and three bathrooms with a big kitchen and living room so that says something about the size of the house next to ours.

"These are our new neighbors. Kimberly this is Gabrielle and her daughter Thalia. They will be our new neighbors."

"Hi. Umm... nice to meet you I'm Kimberly."

"Kimberly how about you show Thalia around town. They just moved from Florida and they don't know the town much." My father suggested.

Well the party doesn't start until nine but nobody is actually there on time so I guess I have time to show Thalia around.

"Uh sure."

"Take my car, but be very careful."

I grabbed my mother's keys and led Thalia outside. We got in my mother's car and I begun to drive. Thalia seemed like a girlie girl if you asked me. She wore light jeans and a too pink shirt. Her blonde hair was curly and a small pink bow held a small strand out of her face.

"So where do you want to go?"

"Uh... is there a mall here?"

Please tell me she isn't shopping addicted like most girls.

"I just can't wait to get out of these clothes."

Was she planning to get nude in the mall?

"Excuse me?

"Oh that must have sounded wrong. Uh it's just my mom made me put this on. She thinks my style is too tomboy and she wanted me to make friends that are girls."

Then again, never judge a book by its cover.

"There is a mall."

"Okay."

I drove silently with only the sound of my thumping thumb on the sterring wheel and my humming.

"I love that song. It's my favorite. It's King for a Day, right?"

"Yeah."

I turned on the music and she sang along to Sleeping with Sirens. Once we reached the mall she walked in and looked around.

"This mall is bigger than the one I used to shop at."

"Yeah it's pretty big. It's kind of impossible to not get lost if you don't know your way around."

When Thalia finished shopping I dropped her off at her house and then went to mine to get ready. I shower quickly and find a dress I have never seen in my life. I liked it though. It was a tight golden sequin dress. I had little spaghetti straps that I thought would rip if I tugged on them. I combined the dress with a black leather jacket and some black pumps. My collarbone tattoo was visible.

I do a smokey eye effect on my eyelids and put on some dark lipstick. After teasing my hair a bit I grabb my bag and head downstairs. I then run back up and spray myself with a bit of perfume. After I made sure I was done I head back down stairs.

"I see you've found the dress I bought you," my mother says.

"Yeah." I reply.

"Where are you going?"
