Prologue part four
~Treshawn~
I thought I was smart. I was smarter than everyone around me. I didn't realize that even though I was smarter than them all, we were still headed to minimum wage. Until I got knocked way off course. I didn't like to think of the future cause it scared me. I don't want to work at Wendy's but where else will I go. Not college that's for sure. I choose not to think about it, until the mist smacked me in the face.
I was just taking a bath last Saturday when my hair started changing color on its own. I didn't scream but it sure scared the hell out of me. I went to sleep, hoping I was hallucinating. Sure enough, it stopped over night. A few days later, I woke up white. You don't go to sleep black and wake up white. That doesn't happen. This time I screamed. I told my parents I was sick and couldn't go to school. They didn't really care because they knew what my education was heading towards.
On the fourteenth day, everything went haywire. My hair was constantly changing length and color, my skin was as well. I was getting taller and shorter, fatter and thinner. I had never felt pain like this, and all I could do was writhe around on the ground, crying. My mom called the police screaming about the devil possessing me.
