Chapter 6

I looked up at the clock to see that it was already 11pm, everyone was asleep except from Ashton and I.
As the movie credits started to come up on the screen, I sat there in silence with Ashton, I wasn't sure if it was an awkward silence or not.

" Well that was a great movie" Ashton said in a hushed tone.
I wasn't sure if he was being quiet because he was nervous or because we didn't want to wake anyone

" I guess so" I quickly replied , we sat for about half an hour making small talk and making fun of the way our friends looked while they were asleep.

"Kim" I said shaking Kim in attempt to wake her up. She didn't make a move but everyone else did.
"KIM " I half shouted.
"No. What do you want" she muttered.

"You need to get up, your mum is outside' I said
"I was just getting comfortable" she said dragging herself to her feet.
"Night guys" she as she left through the front door and out to her mums car.

"I better get going to" said Calum
"Calum can you drop me off on your way home" Luke said, followed by a nod from Calum.
" Don't forget about me" said Michael quickly putting on his shoes and following Luke and Calum out of the house.
"See you at school tomorrow" Michael said popping his head back around the door before closing it behind him.

"And then there was 3 " Stuart said.
"I'm guessing your mum is running late as usual to pick you up?" I asked looking out the window.
"Yes. I really should learn to drive, it would save me from being late for everything" he slightly laughed.
" Stuart I think that is your dads car outside " I said taking a closer look out the window.

" Really my dad? My mum must have borrowed his car" Stuart said coming over to the window.
"Nope that guy is definitely my dad , I better go" Stuart said making his way out of the house.

"Well I guess it's just the two of us , what time does your mum get home?" I said to Ashton .

"At like a like eleven since the shift she is doing, speaking of which where is your mum?" Ashton said.
"She is at her sisters, for a couple of weeks" I said sitting back down beside him.

"Aww so that's why you had the big party. So are you excited to be going back to school tomorrow?" Ashton questioned
"Nope" I quickly replied
"Come on it's our last year, make something of it" Ashton said sitting up properly to face me.
"I think spending another year in that hell hole of a school sounds terrible" I said.

"Are you not even excited for all the events that happen like prom and we practically do nothing in our classes" Ashton said enthusiastically.
"Not really, none if these things appeal to me, prom just seems like an opportunity for girls to try and out do each other and bitch about other outfits. It sounds all a bit to dramatic for me" I laughed.

"Well maybe" he was was interrupted my the beeping of his phone
"It's my mum she's home I better go" Ashton said standing up from the sofa.

"Okay see you Tomorrow "I said walking him to the door and letting him out before locking the door behind him.

That night I fell asleep thinking about how different the Ashton Irwin I was talking to acted like compared to the Ashton Irwin the "popular guy". I just hope he doesn't act different tomorrow in front of everyone else.
