Chapter 16

*Lou's pov*

Friday night was quickly approaching. It was currently Thursday and Lottie Kim Stuart and I are currently going through my wardrobe.
"Where did he say he was taking you again?" Kim asked.
"He's taking me out for dinner then we're going bowling" I said.
"I was thinking you should wear a skirt but be careful incase it goes up" Lottie said.
"I would say a dress that just floats because shirt go up easier" Kim said.
"Well she has nothing like you both described so I have had enough of this we are going shopping" Stuart said .

In the end I came out with a plain cream dress that has a lacy bit at the back. We said our good byes when Lottie and I went one way and Stuart and Kim went the other.

"Are you nervous for tomorrow?" Lottie asked.
"Of course, were you this nervous when you and mark first went on a date ?"I said.
"Well no because I had been like best friends with mark so long before hand so it was okay. I'm sure it will turn out fine" Lottie said as we turned down our street.
"Okay, thank's Lottie. I'll see you tomorrow " I said crossing the road to the other side of the street.

Friday

No one really mentioned anything about tonight until it got to last period. We sat in music talking while Ashton and the band rehearsed.
"So Lou did you hear about the bands show on Saturday?" Stuart asked out of the blue.
"Umm no?" I said confused.
"Oh really we've all been invited?" Stuart said.
"Oh okay" I said a bit disappointed.

Class went extremely slowly, I walked out of class then walked home with Lottie who was coming over to help me.
"You don't think he didn't ask me incase tonight didn't workout?" I ask Lottie.
"No, don't over thing he probably is just a bit nervous about tonight and tomorrow night" Lottie said.
I had a quick shower, and got into a robe. I dried my hair then let Lottie curl it while I did my make up. Lottie did my hair in perfect loose soft curls. My make up wasn't to fancy I just added a thin top eyeliner to my usual make up that I redone. I put my dress on and my outfit was complete except for one thing.
"Shit Lottie I forgot to get shoes that would ho with the dress" I said.
"What colour of vans or converse do you have" Lottie shouted.
"White converse , red vans and purple vans" I quickly replied.
"Just wear the white converse" she said.
I ran to my wardrobe and grabbed my converse from the bottom.
"Are you sure they look okay" I said after I put them on.
"Strangely enough they go ready well" Lottie replied.
I looked up at the clock and it was already quarter to 6 "shit he'll be here in 15 minutes" I said in a rush.
"But you're ready why are you panicking" she said laughing at me.
"I'm physically ready but not mentally ready" I said.
"That doesn't sound right " she said.
"Lottie why do you have to think like that" I said laughing.
"Should I leave the now so he doesn't know i'm here ?" Lottie asked.
"Wait until i've left then leave because he might see you leaving if you go the now'' I say starting to lower my voice for no reason.

We made our way down stairs to pick up my bag that I had left down there. The door bell ended up going and Lottie ran behind the sofa to hide. She is metal.

I took a deep breath before I opened the door.
"Hey Ashton " I said.
He was wearing his skinny jeans with t-shirt and just a jacket over it.
"Hey beautiful you ready to go" Ashton said .
"Yeah sure let's go" I said.
"Wait these are for you " he said handing me flowers.
"Aww thank, one minute i'll just leave them here" I said popping the back in the house.
"Lottie put these in water before you go"I whispered to her.

"Let's go" I said coming back out.
"Okay, bye Lottie " Ashton shouted as I shut the door.

How did he guess.
