Shay's POV

The days spent in our cabin were long. Nate and Grace watched movies, but all Eleanor, Charlie and I could do was worry. I barely got any sleep the two nights we were there. On the third day I nearly jumped out of my skin when there was a knock on the door.

Charlie rushed across the room to check to see who it was, while Eleanor and I grabbed the kids and ducked behind the couch. After she had made sure that everything was ok she opened the door. Pouring rain followed our visitor inside. It was Marie.

Charlie fell into her mothers arms, even though she was soaking wet.

"I came as soon as I was able to," Marie said once she had released her daughter. She removed her coat and set down her umbrella to hug Eleanor and I as well.

"Do you want anything to drink?" I asked Marie as she sat down at the small kitchen table.

She shook her head. "I'm not staying long. We've got about ten minutes before we're leaving."

"Leaving?" Eleanor asked, pulling Nate into her lap.

Marie nodded. "We're going back to Los Angeles. Once we're there we'll call Louis an dyou'll be able to see him." She reached across the table and squeezed Eleanor's hand.

I leaned back in my seat thinking over what she had just said. If Louis was coming then all of the boys probably would too. It wasn't that I didn't want to see them, it was more that I was worried about what would happen with Liam.

I was obviously still in love with him, a fact that I had been struggling to hide from myself until very recently, but it had been nearly three years since we had been together. I was a completely different person, quite literally. What if during the three years we had both changed beyond recognition?

Then there was also Grace to think of. I couldn't think of how meeting her father could harm her, but having a new man thrust upon her like this could potentially serious complications. If she had been older, perhaps, I would have been more worried.

"Are you okay?" Charlie asked, putting her non-injured hand on my shoulder.

"I'm fine," I said pulling myself out of my thoughts. What would happen would happen. I couldn't allow myself to dwell too much on the unknown.

"The helicopter is ready," Marie said, peering through the window.

I pulled Grace into my arms and out to the waiting helicopter allowing joy to loosen the knot of trepidation in my stomach. We were going home.

Liam's POV

"Hello?" Louis answered his phone as we collapsed into the tour bus. As soon as he had sat down her bolted upright again. "We'll leave now," he said frantically.

The rest of us watched as he paced around the room. After an agonizing several minutes of "mmhmm"s and "okay"s he hung up and turned to us.

"They found them," he said. A smile broke across his face. The rest of us stared at him in a stunned silence before fully processing what had happened.

Niall let out a loud whoop and everyone else joined in rejoicing. I felt a tear roll down my cheek. Louis was crying too, so I got up and hugged him.

"We have to leave now," he said. "They're in Los Angeles."

An hour later we were speeding down the Pacific coats in a helicopter. I could barely believe that in three hours I would be able to see Briar again and meet our daughter for the first time.At that moment I don't think I could have possibly been any happier.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yay they're all happy! Sorry it's short, but it turns a bit nasty from here, so I thought I would get this all done in one. Reunions in the next chapter, so that'll be nice and happy, but I think that the media will go crazy over this. Don't you? Plus there's a wedding to plan!
Love you!!
