A ball?
Me? Invited to a ball?
Unheard of.
But it happened.
I groaned. That means shopping in Venice for a suit and mask. Great. With girls. We probably will be stuck there for 4 days shopping for a dress.
"AMMMMYYY!" hollered Eli knocking on Amy's door.
"WHHHHAAATTTT?" screamed Amy, opening the door, looking rattled. Her hair a mess, clothes wrinkled. Dark circles under her eyes.
"You look like crap." said Eli, staring Amy up and down.
Amy blushes and attempted to straighten her clothes out when she saw Ace standing behind Eli.
"Sorry. I stayed up all night watching movies because I couldn't sleep then slept at like 6 in the morning." she mumbled.
"We can't have that." said Eli and barged into Amy's house, pushing Amy back, causing her to stagger back.
"What about us?!" I called after Eli.
"Go get Eli some groceries and buy her breakfast." called Eli behind her back.
I looked at Ace, eyebrows raised.
"I'm getting her breakfast." he said quickly, then hurried off to get a motorcycle from Lily's mansion.
I sighed. Can this day get any better?
It could

"ERMAHGAWWWDDD!" screamed a high pitched voice behind me. Crap. I knew that voice. "nick is that you?"
I turned around. "Hey Jasmine."
"Omg! Nick! I missed you so much!" she drawled, spinning a locket of blond hair with her finger, chewing some gum obnoxiously. She fluttered her short blond eyelashes at me. I scrunched up my nose.
"Me too..."
"We should so get back together." she suggested. "You know you miss me. Why should a hot jock like you go to waste with a stupid girl."
Shit.
"You cheated on me."
"I swear I did not Nick! Why don't you believe me!" she drew out the me. I closed my eyes and counted to 5.
"because when I did you just went and cheated on me again."
"HE WAS THE ONE THAT SNOGGED ME!" she said loudly, rolling her stupid small eyes at me. God she was ugly. Whatever did I see in her? She wore a short skirt that barely came up 1/6 of her thigh, and a shirt that only came halfway down her stomach, and exposing her cleavage. She wore 4 inch high designer heels and held a Coach bag, with a ton of makeup caking her face. Her short blond hair had purple highlights. Her hair was dyed blond of course. Brown roots making their way out.
"You shouldn't have allowed him." I said curtly. Why was I wasting my time with her?
"I've seen who you are hanging out with." she snarled. Her nose scrunched up. "And she isn't pretty. She's very rude too."
I sighed. "She may not have a pretty face to you. But she is beautiful to me. She doesn't even put on makeup, which makes her even more beautiful. She doesn't care for beauty. She has a beautiful heart, a heart of gold. Unlike your heart of stone you slut."
"You may as well become gay."
"The guy you are dating is gay."
She huffed and spun on her heel. "You'll be sorry!" she said as she walked off, tripping slightly.
