Chapter Four.

~Devin's POV~

I finally finish my classes for the day and I'm trying to hurry up so I can go see my beautiful babygirl, She stole my heart there's just something about her that makes me melt.

I walk into the boys and I dorm and tossing my stuff onto my bed not bothering to say hi to Kevin, just as I'm about to take a foot outside he clears  his throat.

"You can't speak? Why are you such in a hurry?"

"Sorry.. uh.. I'm about to meet up with a friend really quick" I lie

"Who? Kory?"

"Yeah... I'll be back later"

"iight" He nods, I walk out closing the behind me and letting a small sigh. I should probably text Kory to lie for me too. 

You~: Yo if Kev calls to see if I'm with you lie
Kory~: You bout to meet up with that girl?
You~: Yeah but y'know Kevin and Danny don't know shit I'm still with Kalani after all
Kory~: When am I going to meet this poor girl your playing?
You~: I'm not playing her I'm sparing her feelings
Kory~: Playing her bitch your playing her
You~: Just lie

I shove my phone into my back pocket and head to Melanie's dorm, as I get closer I see Emiliana in the distant. Please do not see me. I try to avoid her seeing me and just as I pass her she calls my name.

"Dev! Hi!" She smiles brightly, I curse under my breath and turn around to face her

"Oh.. hey.. what's up Emili?" 

"Nothing much.. more like what's up with you?"

"What are you talking about?"

"When I came home the other day Lani was crying because of you.. what is up with you lately?"

"What? I didn't make her cry" I lie, of course I did I kicked her out.

"You've been quite distant lately"

"I've been busy"

"Don't you care how your girlfriend feels?"

"Of course I do, she fine okay? mind your business Emiliana" I snap, I walk away and head to Melanie's once I reach her door I take out the spare key she gave me and unlock the door walking in.

"Hi baby! What took you so long? I started to think you weren't coming" She pouts

"Sorry I got caught up talking to a friend you know I would never leave you hangin"

"I don't know.. I thought you may have had second thoughts on your girlfriend" She says shyly

"Melanie I told you baby I'm in love with you okay? not her"

"Then why won't you leave her?"

"I don't want to hurt her feelings I did love her at some point y'know"

"Devin you're a dumbass fucking break up with her I refuse to keep sneaking around with you"

"Okay! okay just give me some time I promise I will soon okay?"

"You better or I'll do it myself"

~Kalani's POV~

"So then he told me to mind my business and I honestly wanted to curse him out but that would be childish" Emiliana says

"I would have and I want to" Summer says "I don't know how you put up with this Lani he's a jerk"

"Because I love him but I guess you wouldn't know anything about that huh?" 

"Damn the shade" Emiliana says 

"In all seriousness if I were you I would consider just breaking up something seems wrong with him lately"

"Summer shut up I don't care"

"Okay but if you end up heart broken don't come crying to me" She shrugs

"Summer stop! maybe he's just busy college is hard after all" Emiliana says

"Girl just because you and Daniel have been together for years doesn't mean you know everything about guys you just know enough"

"Okay so if he's acting weird what do you think he's up too?" 

"Cheating?" Summer raises an eyebrow, my jaw drops and my eyes widen at her accusation 

"Oh come on Summer! He wouldn't cheat that's crazy he loves Lani" Emiliana says

"You can love someone and cheat Emiliana" Summer says "Lani?"

"Why the fuck would you say that about my boyfriend?!"

"Lani it was a simple guess! I never said he was a cheater!"

"Yeah! Well he's not you!" I snap 

"Woah what are you talking about Lani?" Emiliana asks

"She's a cheater she's cheating on Kevin" I mumble

"This better not be true Summer" 

"It is okay! Damn! I can do what I want I don't need both of you breathing down my damn neck for my own decisions"

"But you're with Kevin!"

"Who cares okay? because I surely don't as long as he doesn't know I don't care"

"Yeah but when he does find out he's going to dump you"

"Oh well I know my consequences"

"I'm really starting to regret not going to Brandon's school" I whine

"Oh shut up your just upset that Devin is a hoe" 

"And you're not?" 

"Ha ha"

~Devin's POV~

"So? how are you going to break up with Kalani?" Melanie asks

"I think that's for me to decide I don't have to tell you"

"If you want to stay with me you will" She says crossing her arms over her chest in a sassy way

"You are so cute" I chuckle

"Mhm and so are you but sadly I have to share you with some other chick"

"I thought you said you had a class with her"

"I never said I liked her did I"

"True.. plus who cares it's a simple break up I don't see what's the big deal"

"It's just because we had a lot of history and we moved past it... but things just aren't the same anymore"

"How is that?"

"Because I fell for someone else?"

"Oh.. right.." She says "Did you love her like you loved me?"

"Yeah.. I mean I loved her a lot but that was before.. I just hope when I break up with her she can move on easily"

"You said you two had history so it'll most likely be hard on her Devin"

"That is true"

"But the real question I want to ask is will it be hard on you?"

"No I moved on I'm with you and I love you I'll be fine when we break up"

"Good because you're mine"
