Chapter Six.

~Kalani's POV~

"Where have you been Summer? I thought your class ended like two hours ago"Emiliana says as Summer walks into the dorm.

"I was with Kevin" She mumbles

"I want some pizza?" Emiliana offers holding up the box towards Summer

"I'm not hungry.." She sighs pushing the box back

"Okay Summer what's wrong? you're not acting like yourself"

"You wouldn't believe me if I said why"

"Why does it involve me?"

"It's literally about you"

"Then tell me" I say staring at her in confusion, she let's out a deep sigh before talking.

"Devin is cheating on you and before you try to call me out as a liar you can ask Kevin Lani" She explains, I stare at her hoping she's hoping but I know she's not and it hurts it fucking hurts. 

"Lani.." Emiliana says quietly

"I'm going for a walk" I say walking over to the door "Neither of you call my phone" I say before I walk out slamming the door behind me.

I walk around campus struggling to keep myself from crying... it's just... how can you cheat on someone who's always been there for you who's always loved you but still have the audacity to fucking cheat.

"Lani? Lani!" I hear someone call my name, I can't be bothered to turn around so I keep walking until I feel someone grab my arm turning me to face them.. Devin. "Babe what's wrong?" He smiles

"N.. nothing I'm just stressed about some stuff.." I lie

"It'll get better baby" He says planting a kiss on my cheek and I fight the urge to roll my eyes "But um.. I want you to my friend this is Kory" He points over to a boy behind him who smiles at me.

"H.. hi" I choke out, well.. he's kind of cute okay very cute.

"This is my girlfriend Lani obviously" Devin says, yeah not for long bitch.

"It's nice to meet you Lani" Kory says still smiling 

"By the way babe.. I want to take you out for dinner like a really nice dinner okay?" Devin says intertwining our hands, I try to pay attention to him but damn.. Kory keeps staring at me.

"Oh.. okay.. um what time?" I fake smile

"Seven sound good? I'll pick you up then" 

"Sounds great.. I'll see you then" I say, I kiss him quickly and walk away back to my dorm.

As I walk in I only see Summer and she stands up quickly parting her lips as if she wants to say something.

"I.. Lani.. I'm sorry" 

"I'm not mad at you Summer.. you just didn't want me to get hurt even though I did but I'll get over it okay?"

"I know who the girl is too.. but I don't know her name" 

"You can show me later I need to get ready for a date with Devin" I announce while walking over to my closet and I hear her gasp. 

"BITCH YOU STILL WITH HIM?!" 

"For now it ain't going to be for long" I scoff

"Well then we must make you look extremely good if we want him to regret ever cheating" She says, I hear can hear the smirk in her voice as she walks over to my closet. 

"You're going to work your magic?"

"Mhmm" She hums "Just go shower and do your hair I've got this covered" She winks
