~Devin's POV~

"But... Devin you promised not to hurt me again!" She cries

"I know Lani I know I'm sorry.. but I'm in love with her"

Fuck. that's all I can think about the hurt expression her face.. my poor baby.. well ex but still.. it's just.. ugh I don't know why does something that seemed right feel so wrong?

"Devin you look fucked up what's wrong?" Daniel asks, before I can say something I hear Kevin grunt making me look at him but he's concentrated on his phone.

"Lani and I broke up.." I say looking down at the floor

"Why?" 

"Don't you dare lie either Devin" Kevin says

"I cheated on Lani" I mumble 

"I'M SORRY SPEAK UP?!" 

"I FUCKING CHEATED ON KALANI! OKAY I CHEATED ON HER AND SHE FOUND OUT AND DUMPED ME ARE YOU HAPPY KEVIN?!"

"You cheated on Lani?" Daniel asks staring at me in shock

"Yes..."

"I want to know the truth" Kevin demands and Daniel nods, I sigh and roll my eyes.

"I met her at a park sometime in July.. and it was something about that I was drawn too so I gave her my number not realizing what I was doing so we started talking and stuff I started feeling her and she was feeling me then she said she went to NYU and I was like that's perfect since I'm going and then this happened"

"So.. she's a sophomore..?" Daniel asks

"Yeah.."

"So.. you're dating an older chick that you hardly know.. instead of Lani.. who you've known for years? What is wrong with you?" Kevin says with a mixed confused and disgusted look on his face.

"Yeah really Lani is a great girl why would you give that up?" Daniel says 

"She's fucking gorgeous and literally a guys dream and you had a chance to keep her and you messed it up" Kevin says

"I KNOW THAT DAMN! I DO FUCKING MISS HER!"

"Well you ruined it" Kevin says

"Sometimes I really want to beat your ass yo you just don't understand"

"Oh I do because I get the same feeling bout' you" 

I roll my eyes and pick up my phone and keys and walk out the dorm, I can't be around them for another minute so I'll just go see Melanie.

On my walk to her dorm I get stopped by Kory.. surprisingly. 

"Oh.. what's up Kory? I thought you had uh.. whatever you play at this time?"

"You seriously forgot I play basketball? and it was cancelled today I need to talk to you"

"I'm kinda busy.."

"What to go see that whore you left Lani for?" He snaps

"The fuck? Why do you care?"

"I don't care I'm just I don't understand why you would cheat on someone"

"Are you seriously talking to me about cheating? You're a fucking player Kory"

"Lani doesn't know that" He smirks slightly

"You better stay away from Lani if I find you came anywhere near her trying some dumb shit I will beat your ass and I can fucking promise that Kory" I say taking a step closer to him.

"I'll make sure to let her know you still care when she's in my bed" He winks and walks past me, bastard.

I finally make it Melanie's dorm but pissed.. I swear if he actually has sex with Lani I'm going to jail. I unlock her door and walk in where she looks up from laptop quickly.

"Oh.. hey babe.." She smiles and closes her laptop "I wasn't expecting you to come I thought we had plans for tonight?" 

"Yeah well I needed to get out of my dorm" 

"I know what would make you feel better" 

"And what would that be?"

"Spoiling me it'll make me happy and you love to see me happy" She says

"I just spoiled you Lani would never act like this"

"Yeah well I'm not that fucking bitch and you're with me now" 

"Okay you're acting like a bitch I'm sorry for the disrespect but damn"

"I've been called worse"

"I bet you have" I mumble

~Kalani's POV~

"You know what I've actually been okay after the break up" I say to Emiliana 

"That's good I was expecting you to be a cry baby and cry over him" 

"I'm a strong independent woman!"

"You still try to order off the kids menu"

"FUCK YOU!" I gasp "IT'S CHEAPER"

"Broke bitch" She coughs I laugh and nudge her playfully

"I kind of wonder how he's doing though.. y'know?"

"Yeah if Daniel and I ever broke up I would hope he'd be devastated"

"YOU'RE NOT GOING TO BREAK UP CHILD!" I snap making her laugh

"I just wanted to say that" She says still laughing 

"Ugh you get on my nerves with your stupid perfect relationship with your oh so perfect stupid Daniel Veda"

"Bitch why you gotta hate on my man? What he ever do to you?"

"He's dating you" I joke she rolls her eyes and gives me the middle finger 

"Just cause' you're single does not mean you can come after my man you better find a new one"

"Maybe that's what I should do!"

"Wait what?"

"I should try dating y'know? I haven't for a while because of him so like.. why not? it's college what the point of being held down the whole time!"

"I will allow you to date but you just can't act like a hoe"

"Mmm no promises"

"Don't play like that I'll kill you I don't chill with hoes"

"You're friends with Summer"

"The shade!"

"I'm joking that's my best friend" I grin and she gasps 

"What am I than?!"

"My other best friend duh bitch" 

"What I miss hoes?" Summer asks as she walks in flopping straight down onto her bed

"Lani is going to start dating again" 

"Perfect we can go to a party tomorrow night and you can hoe it up" Summer jokes

"She's not going to be a hoe!" Emiliana says

"IT WAS A JOKE EMILIANA" Summer shouts

"YOUR ASS IS A JOKE" Emiliana says bluntly, Summer and I stare at her before bursting into laughter

"You get on my nerves yo" I say still laughing

"This is why I don't talk to y'all! you always to have to laugh at me" Emiliana pouts
