Jaspers POV
It's 11:45 a.m., chemistry is my next class.

I stood with my back against my locker, my eyes wandering aimlessly around the hallways.

I saw many gems that I knew. Many except for (Y/N). I had to admit, I was worried about her. I treated her like garbage. She didn't deserve that. She just came to this school two days ago..it wasn't fair.

As my mind reminisced about (Y/N), a familiar blue gem made her way toward me.

"Jasper Jasper Jasper!" She yelled while running to me. It was Lapis. She had her cheer uniform on with my football jacket hanging on her shoulders. Others knew that she was mine, and didn't dare go near her.

"Oh hey Lapis." I held my arms out and Lapis ran into them. She grabbed my face and kissed me, making me bend down at an odd angle considering how short she is.

I tasted a bitter taste in my mouth. It tasted a little like cigar smoke. But Lapis didn't even smoke cigarettes, so why did her mouth taste like cigars?

The only person I knew in this school who smoked cigars was Coach Sugilite.

And here we go again. The background noise of the call with Lapis started to pick at my brain and its all I could think of besides my issue with (Y/N).

I cringed at the bitter taste and pulled away. "Lapis why do you taste like cigars?" I questioned.

She blushed a dark blue and wrapped her small arms around mine. "Oh silly, I don't taste like cigars. I don't even smoke cigars!"

"Exactly why I'm questioning it hun." I put my arms on my hips, making her shrug off of me. "And finally that I see you now, we can talk."

"About?" She adjusted the jacket on her shoulders and leaned back against the lockers next to me.

"Last night, what else about?"  I said in a hostile tone. "You and coach Sugilite, what the fuck was that about?"

"It was nothing Jasp-"

"The fuck do you mean nothing?" I flailed my arms about and pushed my hair back behind my ear in frustration.

"You're overreacting about this."

"I'm overreacting?!" I pointed at my chest hard and turned to her. "Oh I'm sorry I was 'overreacting'-" I put my fingers in air quotes when I said overreacting. "About MY football coach calling MY girlfriend  baby. I am also sorry that I was overreacting about MY girlfriend tasting like cigars WHEN SHE DOESNT EVEN FUCKING SMOKE!" I slammed my fist hard against the locker above her, making her shrink in stature.

"J-Jasper... You got it all wrong babe-" I put my hand up to her mouth, making her shut up.

"You know who smokes cigars...?" I bent down slowly, so that I was eye level with Lapis. My hand still on her mouth, keeping her from interrupting me.

She shook her head, complete fear in her eyes. For some reason I liked it when she was like that.

"The coach..." I grinned and shot a menacing yet tauntingly filled glare.  I knew what she was up to. I knew what she was doing.  Or at least I think I do. I wanted to give her another chance.  I mean, it couldn't of been coach Sugilite right?

I let go of her mouth slowly,  my arm still on one side of the locker, not letting her escape.

"I can trust you though right Lapis...? " I asked.

She smiled that sly smile of hers and nodded. "Of course you can!" She happily said before wrapping her small arms around me. "You know.  I wouldn't cheat on you.  I'm not stupid."
