Yami's POV:
I didn't think this day would come this, but now it has. Lately, I keep thinking about Yugi, telling me to tell my love the truth. But all I want to do is push that thought away, and forget about it. Though, it's coming back to me, and I can feel my heart panging against my chest.
One morning, I was just watching cartoons while eating my breakfast, cinnamon oatmeal. No doubt that I could not resist the irresistible taste of cinnamon. Behind me, Sayuri is at the dining room table, reading the newspapers. "Hey, Yugi," she says. "Come check this out!"
So I arched my eyebrows, and head over there. "What is it?"
Sayuri places the newspaper on the table, and points at the picture what looks like the carvings of Ancient Egyptians. My chest tightens a bit, and my eyes widen. The museum might have my past, in it. I can feel sweat dripping down my back, as I froze into fear. "O-oh my," I stutter, a bit.
Sayuri turns the paper around and reads, "The museum is holding an exhibition of Ancient Egypt's artifacts, and mummified mummies. They also have the most interesting part of the exhibit, The Nameless Pharaoh."
Oh no, I thought to myself. This cannot be happening.
"This might be exciting," Sayuri says, lifting her eyes up from the paper. "What do you say? Can we go?"
I was really hesitant for a while. I could not speak or move. I'm frozen into place. Do I really wanna go with Sayuri, to the place where it'll unlock my secrets? I can't let suspicion seep into Sayuri's brain. Then again, I don't want Sayuri to think of me as the bad guy. I was once a bad soul, when I tortured people with my games. All I was doing was trying to bring justice. But all I was acting was a psychotic maniac, who scares everyone. I even made Yugi scared once, but that was all in the past. What to do now?
"Yugi, you ok," Sayuri asks, to break the silence.
I shake my head and looked at Sayuri. She's looking at me, curiously. "Yeah, I'm ok. I was lost, right there."
"Alright... Well do you wanna go, or not?"
I sighed and managed to smile, a bit. "Alright, we can go."
Sayuri's POV:
I can't wait to go to the museum to see the new exhibit of the lost pharaoh! I really want to see it, ever since I read it on the newspaper. Besides, ancient Egypt is so interesting. It's always filled with mystery, and has a hint of whimsy. Call me weird, but that's how I feel about Ancient Egypt. I remember learning about it, when I was a little kid. I have a collection of books about ancient Egypt; like what they wear and what their tradition is like. I even wanted to dress up as Cleopatra, when I was a little kid. Along with learning about Ancient Egypt, I learned about mummies. Now you think I would be scared about dead bodies. To be honest, I was really hooked into this stuff, since it ties to Ancient Egypt. Well I wasn't much interested in looking at dead bodies, but I learned how the heart is measured by a scale. If the heart is heavier than the feather, then they go to the shadow realm. However, if the heart is lighter than the heart, than the person can enter into the heavenly kingdom. It reveals if the person is a liar, or not.
But anyway, I'm just psyched about it. I never heard of the lost pharaoh, before. It was never mentioned in books that I've read. Maybe they discovered it, recently. It's interesting to hear the story of the lost pharaoh.
As we reached inside the museum, Yugi and I head over to the map that shows all the exhibit. "I can't wait to see the new exhibit, Yugi," I blurted out, in excitement. "Now where to--"
"Um, why don't we save that for last," he asks, interrupting me while I was trying to look.
I turn my head towards Yugi, looking at him curiously. "What? Why?"
