In Love With My Boss (Yami Yugi Fanfic)

Chapter 11

Yami' POV:

After Sayuri left my apartment early, I had to tell Mai to leave. It took a bit longer for Mai to leave, because she was trying to seduce me. Luckily, I had security to escort her. Either she had too many drinks, or maybe Mai was so lonely that she wanted lust. I would feel bad for poor Mai, but she's not the right girl, for me. I just wanted someone, who's shy, unique, and a bit simple. And the only girl that I could not stop running mind was Sayuri.

I couldn't imagine seeing Sayuri's powerful rage, and the fact how she can work her magic. I never thought I would come across a girl with such magical powers, like Sayuri. She kept her secret from me. I understand how she feels, considering the fact that I too keep a secret. I would not let anyone, not even Sayuri, to know my secret. I would be afraid that she would think low of me, if I tell her my secret. I cannot lie, but I must keep this a secret. Yugi and I kept this secret; how I would cover for him during battle, and nobody knows that I'm just a soul, who is already deceased like five-thousand years ago. I may be ancient and am not used to 21st century's technology, but I'm still a human being like everyone. I must reach Sayuri and apologize. More importantly, I wanna express how I truly feel for.

I still remember the day that Sayuri and I first met. It just took my breath away when I first saw her. I even remembered that I sensed something different from her. Sayuri was like no other girl that I cannot even know, on the top of my head. However, I couldn't quite tell what was it, at the time. Now I finally know what it was. Sure that it's her powers. That is something that I couldn't quite detect, but so far, I knew the rest that made her so unique. Sayuri wasn't like those other girls, who care about themselves, or try to always look so perfect. She's a bit tomboyish, funny, sweet, and very brave. Those are the qualities that I could sense, and that's what I like from a girl. The only girl that want and has those qualities is Sayuri.

Unfortunately, I'm not quite sure how to reach her. Then, something just hit me, in the head. I realized that Sayuri wrote down her phone number, on the application. Of course! I have forgotten about that. I feel so silly, not knowing how to contact her. Once again, not used to the new socialize world of 21st century. So I looked through my cabinet, and all the files were here. I kept looking through my files, until I found Sayuri's paperwork. To be honest, Sayuri is the first person to work for me. I never hired anyone to be my assistant, because I thought I would take care of myself. But since Yugi is gone and our old friends have gone to separate ways, I'm all alone. Sayuri is the only one that I got so far, and the only thing I would get her back is to profess my feelings.

Finally, I called her apartment. Though, I expected Sayuri to pick up, but it's someone else. "Hello," I said. "Sayuri, is that you?"

"Who the heck is this," the girl, yelled. "How the heck do you know my pal? Are you a stalker?"

"Wh-what, no! This is her boss, Yugi."

"Oh? And how do I know that it's some kind of prank call."

This is getting me no where, I thought, to myself. This woman that I'm talking to  will not cooperate with me. She just thinks that I'm kind of alien, or whatever that crazy woman is thinking, on the top of her head. I took a deep breath and exhaled. "Listen," I finally, said. "Just tell Sayuri that I wanna talk to her. I'm coming over there, in a few minutes. Do you think you can do that?"

"Depends," the girl just answered.

"Just do it! I need to speak with her right away, and you're not cooperating with me. Do you want me to call your parents."

"Alright! Just chill dude. You're not my dad, ok?"

"I'll be over there in a few minutes. End of story!"
