Moving In

It was time. Skyler was the newest addition to the camp. She had all her stuff placed in her tent. She even added a nice desk so she could write on. It was a peaceful quite night. She sat in her tent until she hear a whimper. She stepped outside her tent for a moment and looked down.

"Oh my, what a cute wolf! Come on in girl, hmm... There's a necklace on you that says Destiny...Ok then I guess I'll call you Destiny!" Skyler had said to the white wolf outside her door. The wolf came in and sat on a nice little pile of towels. Skyler petted Destiny, who didn't seem to mind. Soon Skyler heard footsteps, so she stood up to go to the opening in her large tent.

"Hello, I'm Kat, I was just coming to tell you we would all like to meet with you outside by the fire." The Meif'wa outside said as soon as she saw Skyler. Skyler smiled and nodded. She went back in to pet Destiny one last time and then went out to sit by the fire in the middle of the Camp. Right as she got closer she could hear a female voice, a proud strong voice.

"And here she is, the newest addition to our Camp! This is Skyler! Skyler, I am Julia. Now don't worry about a thing, we have great campers, who I'm sure will all make you feel welcome." The auburn haired girl said and sat down.

Skyler sat next to the girls she has met, Julia and Kat. She looked up and over the fire, and spotted a guy. He noticed her, and she looked down embarresed. Soon Destiny walked out to Skyler, and immediately a dark haired guy got up with a sword.

"Hey new girl! Back away from the wolf. They're dangerous creatures.." He shouted at Skyler with a fierce tone. Skyler immediately pushed the wolf behind her.

"No. Put the sword away, she won't harm anyone," Skyler glared at him. He stepped closer, and immediately his sword flew from his hands. He looked at her shocked. "Nobody touches her," she noted and went to her tend.

"Andrew! Aren't you gonna do something?!" The guy asked angrily to the guy who was originally sitting across from Skyler.

"Blue, clam down. It's a wolf." Andrew replied.

"I'll go and check on her." Another guy offered. "That way she won't have to deal with you two loons."

"Go ahead Jay," Andrew and Blue said in unison.

Jay walked over to Skyler's tent, and stepped in. "Skyler, is it really you?"

Skyler looked over at Jay, then turned back to what she was doing. "What are you doing here?"

"Checking on my little sister."

Skyler glared at him. "As if. You know I don't need you, or anyone else in our family," she spat.

"I don't know what your problem is Sky. You ran away from home, and I looked everywhere for you," Jay commented.

"I have tried avoiding you and mother, and you know it. I didn't think you would be here, and if I had I probably wouldn't have come," she replied.

"Probably huh? Is there a reason you're here? Huh? And how'd Blue's sword fly from his hands? Huh Sky?" Jay questioned.

"I don't have to anwser to you at all. Now get out of my tent! Now!" Skyler shouted as she pushed him out of her tent.

She signed and walked over to her desk.

Dear Diary,
It's Today was my first day at this new camp, it is very strange. I have made a little wolf friend at least, I decided to call her Destiny. So far, I know two girls, Julia and Kat. From listening to the shouting outside my tent, the three guys were Jay, Blue, and Andrew. I already knew Jay though, seeing as he is my brother. There was also anoyher girl at the campfire, but I don't know her name.... Well I hear there is a tree between my tent and Julia's that is called, "The Rumor Tree". I plan to check it out tommorrow.

After she wrote in her diary, she put it in the desk and went to bed. Day one of the quest... she thought as she drifted off to sleep.
