Magic Tricks

(A/N: I just decided to post a pic of my sleepily dog today)

Skyler woke up in Ethan's bed, and her memories from her previous night flooded her mind. Camp was driving her insane. She got out of the little cot, and noticed Ethan still sleeping soundly. With a snap of her fingers, her clothes changed, and she walked out of the tent. Midnight was sitting on one of the many chairs that were in a circle.

"Hey Mid, why at you outside this early?" She whispered, sitting beside her.

"Oh you know.. sitting here waiting for you people to finish what you call 'sleep'," Midnight replied sarcastically. "So.. let's see.. You're upset, and it's Andrew's fault?"
"Am I that obvious?" Skyler groaned.

"Don't awnser that. It's just.. He takes me out in the middle of the night, says he likes me, and 2 weeks later he's out kissing another girl. A girl he just met, if I might add!!"

"That's illogical... Honestly something sounds off about it all. Well, when Ethan gets out here we can get Destiny to find out what may have been the problem. Or have her beat him up," Midnight sympathized.

Skyler nodded and sighed. It was frustrating with guys. She had never really had this much problems with guys before she came to this camp. Guys were something Artemis did not like, but Skyler had always been an exception. There was silence for a bit until there was a big thump, and a big blur of black fur ran in front of Skyler. She smiled, knowing it was Ethan, and he rested his head on her lap.

"Hey there Ethan," She whispered sweetly, petting him. "Do you mind getting your sister over here?"

Ethan huffed his nose at her, and shakes his head; refusing. He bit her shirt, pulling her to stand up. Turning her to face the woods, as he stood behind her. Soon enough, a big white wolf came bounding in, almost knocking Skyler; if it wasn't for Ethan.

"Oh great. Two dogs. Can we keep 'em?" Midnight asked sarcastically.

"Hey there- Destiny!" Skyler coughed, catching her breathe from the collision between the wolves. "It's.. Andrew.. Well.. I can show you.." Simple white crystals appeared, painting the scene of what she saw the previous night.

A low growl came from both of the Ethan and Destiny. They looked at each other and nodded. Destiny walked over to Midnight, and Ethan walk over to Chris, and they nudged them. Skyler stood there confused, but one thing was obvious; they were going to deal with it.

"Alright.. I'll stay here. And.. Thanks," Skyler stumbled with her words.

They all nodded, giving her a reassuring smile before dashing off. As they were running the stopped in the forest. Destiny and Ethan both jumped out to stand in human form, but Destiny was the first to speak. "You guys understand Andrew means well, even if he looks like an idiot. There was just something off about the whole equation."

"That girl." Midnight insisted. "Alyssa.. She just shouldn't have that power, right? She has wind magic."

"Okay, so I think we all understand, now let's stop talking and actually get to the camp." Ethan directed and they jogged the rest of the way to the camp.

They heard laughing and chatting from everyone once they got closer. Destiny lead the others, and Julia as the first to look over, followed by the rest of them. "Hey Destiny, you're back! You left in such a rush earlier!"

"Yes, I know Julia, do you mind if we borrow Alyssa and Andrew?"

"Oh.. Sure... Alyssa, Andrew!" Julia called, "Please follow them.. Oh and don't cause trouble!"

They all nodded and walked into the forest. The stopped in an open area, where Destiny spoke first. "Andrew, you and Alyssa both went here into the forest last night together, correct?" They nodded. "Well, Skyler also happened to be there... And she saw you kiss eachother."

"What?!" Andrew blurted, flabbergasted. "We never kissed. That's-"

He was interrupted by a laugh from Alyssa. A wicked laugh. "So it worked.." They all looked at her. "I practiced for so long to have the wind munipalate what one hears and says... It takes the wind moving impossibly fast to do so.. but it worked..." She laughed again.

Destiny stepped forward, grabbing Alyssa by her neck. "Are you saying that you used wind to cause a situation in which one is left hurt? Are you saying you purposely did that?!"

"Y-Yes!" Alyssa chocked out. She flicked her hand, pushing them all back with a single gust of wind, including Destiny. "You see, it all started with Raven. She's not dead, you know? We heard she was 'killed' and we came to 'pick up the body'. You can't simply just kill a demon. She was one of the top on our wanted list. Next was poor Princess Kat, who had information on the artifact we're looking for. She left due to the fact that her parents were being held for ransom by us and-"

Ethan shouted, "Who the hell is this us, this we?! And what the fucking hell is your point in all of this?!" He jumped up, walking quickly towards her, until a she used her magic to slam him into a tree, knocking the wind out of him.  He gasped for air.

"It would do you good to learn patience!" She snapped back. "Now, as I was saying, Kat had information on a precious artifact. And we know it's at this camp. So, after picking up some new tricks, my mission was to head here. Messing with Skyler and Andrew just topped it all off. I knew there was something about her.. Aura when I first got here. So trust me when I say this... I will be back.. And you better be ready for a fight when all of us come."

She was gone. Just a wave of her hand, and a flurry of cold air took her. Ethan stood there, and grabbed Andrew by the neck, suddenly enraged. "I am tired of this shít! Skyler does not deserve to be treated the way she is, and it's your fault for making her upset all the time. We'll be taking her in at our camp, and nobody will stop us!"

Destiny was about to interfere, until she got a full look of Ethan's face, and backed off. Chris walked over to  Skyler's tent, and a black force surrounded it, until it popped into his hand like a toy. Andrew looked shocked, clawing at Ethan's grip. Ethan threw him onto the ground, and walked away with Chris and Midnight by his side.

"She doesn't like you, I can see it in her eyes! You're telling me off because you're fucking jealous because You know as much as she gets mad at me, you will always just be the one she goes and crys to!" Andrew shouted after him. Destiny was already back at camp, but Andrew stood up, pulling out a sword.

Ethan stopped, his body stiffening. "At least I won't ever have to loose her. Just like you have. She'll believe me over you any day, and Destiny can't argue with what I say."

He continued walking, when Andrew began to run at him, and Midnight hopped in front of him. "Listen to my voice, and only my voice. My Voice, your choice, the only thing you hear and.. Sleep." She whispered, as his body slumped onto her. "You hear my voice as you drift in your unconsciousness, only to awake with great guilt, seeing exactly what Skyler had seen the previous night.. And wake!"

Andrew popped up, only to fall to his knees. The others walked away, as he just sat there, a scowl on his face.
