A Visiter

Then next day, Skyler didn't know what to do. But when she stepped outside her tent in the morning, there was a note.

Dear Skyler,
Camp is fun isn't it? I would have to say I've had my experiences with them... Are there any cute guys? Because I would honestly like to sink my teeth into something new. I really miss you, so I have decided to come pay you a visit. I bet you will have loads to tell. I will be waiting in the forest.

"Great... Just great.." Skyler said out loud to herself.

Andrew came up beside her and spoke, "Hey Skyler.. What's up?"

"Oh.. Uh.. Hey Andrew.." Skyler blushed, "Er- I was just reading something.. I- Uh- Gotta go!" Skyler said and ran back into her tent. She grabbed her quill of arrows along with her quills, and ran into the forest. Andrew watched her curiously as she ran out of her tent, and was gone within a flash. Skyler of course wanted to see Ethan, but she knew at the moment, she had somewhere to go first. She walked into the opening in the forest, and looked up in a tree, seeing a girl reaching for some little animal.

"One second Skyler.. Just gotta reach this stupid little thing.. Come on.." the girl said reaching out for it.

"Leave the dang animal alone!" Skyler called from below the tree, laughing. The animal jumped down and left quickly. "Midnight, you know it isn't nice to hunt when you just announce you're gonna be here," Skyler said sarcastically.

"You're right, where's my manners?" Midnight jumped down from the tree, and gave Skyler a hug. "So, what has the marvelous Sky been up too?" Midnight spoke sarcastically.

"Oh gosh," Skyler said sitting on the ground. "I.. Have a boyfriend, his names Ethan. His sister, is my best friend, and shares my tent. They both know about my powers, Destiny knows more." Skyler quickly muttered what she said next, "And another camper also knows, and kissed me yesterday even though he knows I'm with Ethan.." She took a breathe. "And-"

Midnight interrupted, "So does your boyfriend know? I mean, did you like it?" Midnight was smiling deviously. "Wait.. I got this.. You aren't gonna tell him, and you have mixed emotions about all this!"

"I'm so glad I don't always have to explain everything with you!" Skyler sighed, "But you're right.. Oh and one of Ethan's fellow campers killed one of ours."

Midnight shrugged, "Doesn't surprise me. I've dealt with many people throughout my years. Okay, so follow me, I know I've only been here for like an hour, but I found this great spot to chat and-"

It was then when Andrew walked over. "Hey Skyler I- Wait.. Who's that?" Andrew asked.

Midnight jumped up quickly and put out her hand, "The names Midnight.... Son of Poseidon.. Correct?" Midnight said sweetly, but with a little sass.

Before Andrew could say anything Skyler got up and interrupted, "She's a friend of mine Andrew. She is a great at putting things together, and I'm great about leaving.. Let's go Midnight!" Skyler said walking away hurriedly. She pulled Midnight along with her as she dodged trees. When they stopped Midnight chuckled.

"So that's him huh?" Midnight smiles. "Now that we've done that small meet and greet let's continue on!" She said cheerfully. She grabbed Skyler's arm and ran. Within seconds they were at a white birch cottage. It was nice. From the outside you could see nice grey shudders covering the windows. Of course there was no glass. As soon as they could see it clearly though, it disappeared. Of course Skyler didn't question it, she knew the camp and the area around it was obviously full of magic.

"So, where are we?" Skyler asked, "It's seems pretty far out from the camp, and I really haven't gone this far before..."

"Oh Skyler... Since when did you become a goody girl?" Midnight mocked. Skyler winced. "Since when are you 'little miss perfect'?"

"I'm not!" Skyler snapped. "You know I hate being called that. Anyway... How is.. the thing going?" Skyler asked.

"Oh my friends? They're fine. Some training, and teaching has had to be done, but that's about it." Midnight said uninterested in the conversation. "But, I came here to visit you! You know we haven't talked much about this camp-"

"And we both know you know quite a lot already, don't we?" Skyler interrupted. "You probably know a lot more especially about what's around the camp... Don't you?"

Midnight sighed. "Yes... That's true. Though it's not my fault that I'm curious. I can't help but to look around."

"Yes. But, I understand that you can only have a way to get to people, something about magic vision... Like-" Skyler began. 

"Let's not talk about it. Come on Sky! Let's just have some fun. You know that's why I came here in the first place." Midnight quickly interrupted, making Skyler smirk. Skyler snapped her fingers making her outfit immediately change into a bikini; Along with Midnight's outfit that quickly changed to a bathing suit. They both raced to the water and jumped in. 

Skyler swam over to Midnight and splashed her. "Boo!" Skyler screamed in Midnight's face.

"AHH! I knew you were gonna do that!" Midnight yelled, in between laughs. Midnight splashed her in the face, still laughing. 

They both continued to laugh, scream, and play until they heard someone clear their voice. It was Kat, standing there in a pink bathing suit, with a see-through skirt. "H-Hey Skyler," Kat said softly. "C-can I talk to you?"

Skyler looked over at Kat with a concerned look. "Uh- Yeah sure.. One second Midnight, I'll be right back." Skyler got out of the little lake, and walked over to where Kat was slightly hiding behind a tree. "What's up Kat?"

Kat looked down with a sad expression, and played with her tail. "I... I.. I have to leave the camp.." Kat mumbled.

Skyler looked at her with a puzzled expression. "And... What's so bad about that?" Skyler asked.

"I don't want to tell the others, even if I could I wouldn't know how to.. I-I need help to sneak out.. Please! I need to get back home somehow and-" Kat said almost sounding worried.

"I can help with that.. In fact we both can!" Midnight interrupted happily from behind Skyler, causing Kat to yelp. "Oh I can get you a portal back to... The Meif'wa castle?"

"W-Wait- How'd you know... Oh.. Almost forgot there is a lot of people with magic who live around here," Kat mumbled the last part. "Your help would be much appreciated, thank you. I must leave tonight.."

"That will be no problem at all... Yeah, the portal can be made tonight, meet us back here let's say about.. 10pm? Yes, that should be alright." Midnight said in a  matter of fact way.

Kat walked away happily, yet in a way kind of in a hurry. Of course she got to her tent very quickly, and began packing right away. Afterwards, Midnight and Skyler chatted a bit more in the lake, then had a small picnic. Just a way to pass time before they would help Kat.
