Chapter 7

Everyone stood on the island deciding what to as we watched Eustace try to get the cuff off his arm.

"He must have been tempted by treasure," Edmund said and I glanced over at Peter who was looking at me so I quickly looked away.

"Anyone knows that dragons treasure is enchanted," Caspian said the grinned, "Well anyone from here."

Eustace growled at Caspian as Lucy went over to get the cuff off him. She tugged it at first but finally it came off.

"Is there any way to change him back?" Susan asked now that she had come ashore once one of the crewmen had informed her what happened.

Caspian looked at some of the crew and they shook their heads before answering, "Not that I know of."

"Aunt Alberta will not pleased," Edmund joked trying to lighten the mood.

"The boats are ready Sire," Tavros told Caspian.

"We can't leave him alone," Susan said pleading to Caspian she put a hand on his arm.

"Well we can't bring him on board, Your Majesty," Drinian fired back quickly.

Caspian looked at Susan before turning to them, "Drinian, you and the others go aboard. The rest of us will stay here till morning and work out what to do."

"But you've no provisions and no means of staying warm, Your Majesty," Gael's father said.

Eustace breathed fire onto a nearby log setting it aflame looking proud of himself.

"You were saying?" Reepicheep smiled as we laughed.

They left leaving us on the island so we gathered around the fire. I stayed by Lucy's side making sure the fire was between Peter and I. We all lay out on the ground and I could hear Edmund and Caspian talking.

"I've never seen these constellations before," Edmund yawned.

"Me neither. We're a long way from home," Caspian said sitting up, "When I was a boy I used to imagine sailing to the end of the world and finding my father there."

"Maybe you will," Ed answered hopefully and that's all that I heard before drifting off beside Lucy.

"Everybody, Everybody wake up!" Lucy called, "Look! It's the blue star!"

We all got up slowly waking up and looking up at the sky and there it was just above the horizon by the Dawn Treader. The crew brought out a boat to us and we boarded the ship again and started sailing towards the Blue Star. I sat down on a barrel on deck looking over the sea and at the beautiful star.

"The wind has left us," Drinian told Caspian, Peter and Edmund above on the Captain's Deck.

"So how do we get to Ramandu's Island now?" Ed asked.

"My guess is something doesn't want us to get there," he nodded before walking away.

I glanced up at them as they looked out in front of them. The ship suddenly sprung forward and I lost balance a bit before catching myself and looking up to see Eustace flying in front of the Dawn Treader with his tail wrapped around the bow.

"Eustace! That's brilliant!" Edmund smiled coming down onto the deck as the crew cheered and soon enough we could see the island in the distance. Susan came over and joined me as we waited to go to the island.

"Are you angry with Peter?" Susan asked.

"A bit, why?" I asked watching everyone run around preparing the boats.
