"So what's your story?" Garrus asked to Jorge.

"I have a rule about meeting people in the current circumstances. That is never to just say where your from when they ask, but tell them when I feel comfortable. Like when we get settled somewhere for the night. So you will have your answer tonight."

"Then I guess I won't tell until tonight as well."

"I never asked."

"Well we are stuck together anyways."

They were walking down the sidewalk away from Salutem.

"Okay we are headed to the docks. Keep your guards up and stay frosty."

"Alright Captain Price," John knew what he was referring to.

"Keep quiet."

Lilith's eyes started wandering and thinking until she saw something odd. A shiny object reflected on her eye. She quickly figured out the source and began to walk towards a bush.

"Lily?" Tiffany was curious "Where are you going?"

She didn't respond and reached inside the bush. It was a Japanese katana inside a wooden black scabbard (blade sheath).

"What the hell?" Lilith was confused.

Next thing they heard was a hammer click on a gun. Everyone turned around to see Tiffany held at gunpoint by a hooded figure woman just a little bit shorter than her.

She spoke "Hand over the blade now."

Lilith looked down at the blade and began walking "Is it yours or do you just want it?"

"Does that fucking matter?" she sighed "It's mine I left it there in case I needed place to get a weapon."

As soon as the katana was in her reach she snatched it and ran back to where she came from.

"That scared the shit out of me!" Tiffany said.

"You never know we could have saved her life and maybe she will save ours later," Lilith told her.

"What are the odds of that happening?" Jorge said.

"It still is a chance," Lilith snapped back at him "Zargo told me no matter how unfair the game is or how slim the odds are there is still a chance," she calmed down a bit "Let's just go and leave that behind us."

They proceeded to walk along the emptiness of the entire city. Nothing but small piles of rubble and debris stretching in the gutters, crashed vehicles on poles, upside down, on fire, or already burnt, and the sense that someone it watching you.

"It's really quiet," Tiffany pointed out.

Damien sarcastically replied "No duh."

"Which dock are we going to?" Emily asked Jorge.
