Part 14: We Will See

The man with the gun pointing at John and Jorge put the weapon down knowing he was out skilled and out numbered "I don't want to hurt anyone and I'm sure neither do you," he said sternly.

John looked at Jorge and nodded and slowly they lowered their weapons, but still keeping guards up.

"I'm John and this is my brother Jorge. We have more people with us that would be happy to introduce themselves if you would want to come out?"

The two cautiously looked at the small group of people walking down the dock. Afterwards they jumped off the boat onto the dock.

Lilith walked up first and held out her hand "I'm Lilith. You two startled us for a moment, glad to know there is still nice people."

"We aren't like those Savior guys," said the man "I'm Nik and this is my twin sister Crystal."

"I'm Beanna or you can call me BB. As you can tell neither are we..."

"Yeah they tried to kill us...and well succeeded for a few," Tiffany looked vague "I'm Tiffany and we could not be happier to see people like you."

"How many of yours did they kill?" Crystal asked "We had 5 others...and those creepers got two of them while the Savior got the other 3."

Lilith answered her question "3 of ours are gone."

"I'm sorry..." Crystal responded.

"No matter," Jorge ended the depressing conversation "We are supposed to meet someone here," He pulled out his radio "Alright we are here and have some unexpected guests with us too, now come out so we can finally meet."

Silence went over the radio until his voice said "Oh I never said I was going to meet you here. I just got you guys out of The Savior's influence which is bound to reach you eventually. You will get further instructions in the morning." The radio went silent.

"What?!" Jorge became angry "You said you would meet us..." There was continued silence "Hello?" The man seemed to have turned off his radio "Fuck!"

John looked paranoid when he spoke "This is a trap..."

Tiffany began to get scared "Yeah, I agree if he brought us this far to have us all meet up at the same place then he has to have something planned. Think he didn't acknowledge that there was other people we found here."

Lilith stood indecisive "I have a feeling about this guy. He isn't out to hurt us, I know it."

"I'm standing by Lilith on this bro," Jorge told John "How else are we gonna find out who he is?"

"Well I'm not staying to find out. If Tiffany wants to come with me along with anyone else that would be great. Jorge I plead with you to come with me and we can just follow our original plan to just walk."

"We will see brother. My decision still stands."

Nik spoke up "Well if it means anything I will go with you and so will Crystal."

"I never said I was going," Crystal opposed and said firmly "I'm staying here with them.."

Nik looked bothered "What if its true? We were scared into here by seeing Saviors all over this area...do  you think it would be possible if they didn't kill us so they could lead us in here?"

"That's your paranoia talking."

"Fine...stay here and die for all I care. Don't blame me when the worst happens."

John was final on his decision and so was Jorge "Fine...I guess we well see what happens."

Lilith looked at BB and said "Well which one are you choosing?"

BB looked back and said "I'm going with them...they have a better chance of surviving that way out there."

"I understand," Lilith sighed "I support your decision."

Just like that John, Tiffany, BB, and Nik left the rest possibly for good.

"There they go," Jorge said "I never thought something like this would split us up. I can't force them to stay so its not my fault."

Lilith wanted to record again like she said she would once she arrived "It's still July 15th but at around 2:30 and something happened...John, Tiffany, and BB left along with one of the people we found here at the boat repair place named Nik. The other one is here with us and calls herself Crystal..." Lilith looked over at Crystal "What's your last name?"

"Pines," she responded while a bit confused on what she was doing.

"Yeah..Crystal Pines anyways its just her, me, and Jorge left alone because the rest thought the guy over the radio was leading us into a trap and they just went to the original plan of to just walk. This only increases the risk of us dying faster with less of us...but we can stay more incognito than them if we stay at this place until morning which is when the man said he would give us further instructions. I will update in the morning. Lilith out."

Crystal was curious about what Lilith just did "What are you doing that for? The world ended and no one is going to see those."

Lilith looked at her in anger "A friend of mine was doing these almost every day to record and log the start of the apocalypse in hopes people in the future will see it to know what it was like. Now he is dead and I'm doing them in his honor."

"Oh...I'm sorry."

Lilith sighed "I'm sorry for snapping at you like that...you didn't know. Would you like to see the logs?"

"Sure," Crystal said "I want to know the whole story behind you guys."

Lilith gladly handed her the camera as she sat to watch them one at a time.

"Let's get set up here and wait to see what happens," Jorge told Lilith.

*3 HOURS LATER*

Crystal took time to cry between certain logs by what Lilith had been through and realizing she was the only one left made her cry the most and eventually she finished watching them "I see now...I'm sorry Lilith."

"Quite unbelievable that I was the last one eh?"

"Yeah and still lost so many. Where ever this journey does take you I hope you're prepared."

"We will see."
