A/N: Okay guy, please comment. Let me know what you want. Thanks!! - BlackNeon

Lindsey falls asleep with a smile on her face and arms around me hugging me.

I whisper to her, "I love you Lindsey."

"Come on guys, pick up the pass!" Annabell yells from in front of Lindsey and I.

We had been dragging behind all day. From the lack of sleep we both got, we were sluggish. Plus Lindsey kept tickling me, so I could not sleep.

"Lovebirds get up here! I think you want to see this."

"Hey whoa not lovebirds." Way to go, as we are holding hands. Yeah Annabell will totally believe what I just said.

We run up to were Annabell was. It was at the top of a hill. Down below was a clearing, and a small town. It looked deserted, but you can never be sure. I need bullets though.

"Okay you guys stay up here. I don't want you two to get hurt. I will be in and out, really fast. If I don't come back in an hour, leave. Run, get out, and find the safe haven. Lindsey keep Annabell save."

"No brofer!" Annabell hugs me.

"Annabell he has to." Lindsey looks at me.

All I do is hug her and leave. I can't do anything other than that, or I will cry. I walk down to the town, worrying and on edge. I have nothing to protect myself, and if a zombie were to be here, I would be died, and I would have failed my father. There is no sound, even the wind seems to stop blowing. There is something off about this place. I don't like it. I move to a store that has a gun on the outside. This place is trash. It looks like it has been ransacked. I just want to get in and get out. I rummaged through the the store to find ammo. One box, that's it! Wow not even full. It will work though. I grab an extra gun just in case, and put one bullet in it. Hopefully that one shot is worth it.

I walk out of the shop, and see someone running towards me. Crap! I take off. Hopefully I don't have to use this shot.

"Run! They are coming!" The guy passes me. Whoa fast dude. What does he mean they are coming?

I wish I never found out. Just then I hear moans. Sh*t! I take off, and catch up to the random dude.

"What did you do to piss them off?"

"I shot one, then they all came out of no where!"

"Wow! That was smart! What were you thinking!"

"It was my wife! I am sorry. What should I have done. I saw her and screamed, then shot." I had nothing, because I would have done the same thing.

We are getting close to the hill. I have to worn them.

"Lindsey, Annabell run!" I scream up the hill.

"Who are those?"

"My sister and," with out think I say, "my girlfriend."

"Oh..." We keep running up the hill.

Just then the man trips and rolls down the hill into the zombie. Ohhh... That got to hurt. I hear screams from behind. Well he is one of them.

I reach the top of the hill, and Lindsey and Annabell are ready to go, with Annabell on Lindsey's back.

"Are you going to be able carry her and run?"

"I am stronger than you think."

"Okay keep up! They are coming!"

"I got this!" Surprising she stays right with me, and I was in track. It makes me wonder what she did in school.

"Princess! Get your head out of the clouds! You are slowing down!"

"Sorry!" I keep running. She is pushy under pressure.

"Take Annabell!" She hands her off to me, and starts running backwards.

She brings her bow out, and starts shorting the zombies with arrows. Okay I take pushy back. She is amazing! Surprisingly she keeps up even with running backward and shooting. It is really impressive. I wish I could do that. Problem was, although Lindsey was doing amazing, she was running out of arrows, and there are to many zombies. I know this town was bad news. We should have just moved on and left it. Now I put Lindsey, and worse, Annabell in danger. I feel like crap, oh just kidding, I am just tired, and am about to puck from running to much. We can't do this much longer. Why are there so many zombies? I thought Missouri was supposed to be the safe state, but instead it is almost just as bad as Kansas. Wait... Why would so many zombies be around if there were no humans to eat? There has to be a lot of humans to attack them. The safe haven, it must be close!

"Lindsey we are close!"

"Close to what?"

"The safe haven. Why would so many zombies be around if there was no humans to eat?"

It must have clicked in her head too, because she made a face of shook, but more like a light bulb went on in her head. We have to get to the safe haven. We are so close, and there is no way I am giving up if we are this close. No zombie is getting my sister, or the hottest girl I have ever met.

"Get to a tree!" I yell it Lindsey.

"Okay. Are going to be able to climb with Annabell on your back?"

"I will be fine. GO!" Lindsey gets to a tree and climbs quickly up it, "Your turn Annie."

She had stayed quiet this enter time, but finally spoke her voice shaky, "Okay. You are going to be right behind me right?"

"Yup."  I am not sure that is true though. The zombies were really close, and Annabell can't climb that fast. I have to think of something, "Hey you freaks! What some of this?" I wave my hands to get their attention, not that I already don't have it.

It works, the zombies leave my sister, and come after me. Oh crap, did not think this far ahead. I take off running again. I hope Lindsey and Annabell will be save now. I keep running not looking back, but I can hear Annabell's screaming cries, and  Lindsey yelling at me to stop, and to come back.

Right before I get out of earshot I hear her yell, "I love you Erik!"

Don't look back. Keep going. I have to keep them save. I have to move on.
