A/N: Sorry it was short but hey this chapter is going to be good, trust me. Two more including this one. You ready to know my mind?
I know I am ready to tell you. Comment and vote! THANKS GUYS!!! - BlackNeonOur moment did not last long. James comes up yelling and screaming that zombies were coming. Lindsey jumps away from me blushing. Yup, James did not need to see us kissing.
"Oh... Umm sorry for infuriating. We have to go though."
I don't bother waiting Annabell. I take her in my arms, and we start running. The dawn is barely breaking. It's cold, and snowy. My feet are frozen, and I can't feel my chest, which because we left so early and without working, is completely bare. Annabell luckily is keeping me warm. James is most likely the warmest out of us all. Annabell is in my jacket, pants that have seen their days, and I think a short sleeve shirt on under. Lindsey, I know, must be cold. I can see her shivering as she runs. She only has her bra on under her jacket, and jeans with holes all over them. James has a big coat, nice jeans, and a long sleeve shirt.
Zombies moan and grown behind us. I really wish we had unlimited ammo, like in Call of Duty or something like that. You never seem to run out of ammo. When you do, there is always guns laying around for you anyway. Not here though... There are never random guns laying around, and there is decently no unlimited ammo. If there was, well all these stupid, freaking, freak zombies would be dead!
We try to shot all the zombies we can, but there are just to many. Lindsey, who is a freaking boss, is even having a hard time keeping up with all the zombies. They just keep coming. IT NEVER ENDS!
Annabell is still asleep in my arms, so I can't shot anything, or wouldn't do ever well. James and Lindsey are left to protect all of us. I feel really bad. I don't want to wake Annabell though, but she needs to get up.
"AHHH!" Annabell is out of my arms.
"What was that all about?" I ask.
"Erik, look out!" Annabell yells.
"Wha..." I try around fast, and there is a zombie in my face, "Ahh!" I don't remember what happened, but the zombie is on the ground, head hanging off, and blood all over my shoe.
Everyone has stopped, even the zombies seem to be staring at me. What did I just do? I look back at the zombie, then my leg. I must have kicked it's head off. That's the only thing I can think, but how did I have that much strength to do that?
"We have to go!" Lindsey says, putting an arrow, by hand, into a zombies skull.
We start to run, zombies behind us. I make check points as we run, it makes it easier. Big tree... Rock... Top of that hill... Bottom of the hill... And so on.
Annabell trips, and James picks her up and puts her on his back, "I will not let you die little Anna." That's what I call her, weird.
We gain some ground on the zombies. We can finally slow down a bit. James puts Annabell down, and she smiles at him, as if to thank him. He nods.
Just then I see something on the horizon. It's big and gray. It looks like it goes not for at least three miles. What the...
My thoughts are interrupted, "Is that it!"
Oh my gosh, this the safe heaven! We forget how tired we are, and take off. The place is to big you can see it from at least five or six miles away, which is how far we have to go. We can do this!
We are all going to get there safely!
