A/N: I thought I would be nice, and not end at a cliff hanger this time. How do you guys like it? Please leave comments and votes. THANKS!!!! - BlackNeon
I wake up the next morning cold. Lindsey is no where in sight, and nether is Annabell. I instantly go to panic mood. I jump up to find them. The stuff is still here, so there won't be any zombies. Plus I think they would have woke me up if that were the case. Just then I hear a scream. I run to the sound of the scream. What I find almost makes me mad. I see Lindsey and Annabell playing in the creak, splashing each other. I run and jump in next to them soaking them.
"Princess!!" She hits me hard, but it didn't hurt that much.
I laugh and grab her sides, and spin her around in the water, then throw her back, so she slashes in it.
"Me next! Me next!" Annabell yells with her hands up.
"Okay!" I pick her up, spin her and throw.
We all laugh and splash each other a little more, then I run out, and Annabell and Lindsey follow.
"We should probably dry our clothes. Plus we don't want to catch a cold or anything." I find myself shivering.
I look over and Annabell and Lindsey are doing the same. It was almost winter time, and the creak was freezing. It is maybe October, not cold enough to freeze the water, but still cold. We really need to get out of our clothes.
They look nervous at me especially Lindsey, "I am not kidding. We are going to catch a cold if we don't dry our clothes."
"Fine. Come here Annabell." Lindsey helps her strip down to only her underwear. Annabell did not seem to be phased by this. She just simply gets under a blanket and lays by the tree.
"Here I will go get some wood, so you can dry your clothes without me here." I start walking away.
She grabs me by the arm, and pulls me close to her, "Thank you Erik."
"No princess?" I smile, "Well your welcome." I walk off.
I need to find logs and sticks. There are a lot of little candling. I pick up so much it fells my arms, then I go back. When I get back, I hear Annabell and Lindsey talked, but I can't make out what they are saying. When I see Lindsey though, I almost don't care what they are saying. She is wrapped in a blanket, and the fire is lighting up her face. It takes me back. The water that is in her hair shines, so she looks like a goddess. I have never seen her prettier. I don't even pay attention to the fact that is she only in under garments. I am only interested in her face. I feel my mouth drop open, and I try to close it as I walk into camp.
"Here's more firewood." I set it down and sit next to Annabell.
I did not want to go anywhere near Lindsey, or I would end up kissing her.
"Thanks." Lindsey smiles, and I look away.
Why does she have to look so cute? I bit my lip, and listen to them talk. I sit there and try not to look at Lindsey by staring at the fire.
"Brofer, are you okay?" Annabell shakes me.
"Oh huh yeah I am okay." I look at Annabell and smile, "I think it is someone's bedtime."
"Aww please no. I want to stay up with Lindsey and you. Please...." She gives the puppy eyes.
"Not the puppy eyes!" I laugh and look away, so I am not enchanted by their spell.
Lindsey simply looks at her and says, "Come on Annabell. Listen to the princess and go to bed. We have to walk tomorrow, and you don't want to be tired, do you?"
"No." Annabell says holding her head down, then lays down.
Lindsey smiles after a little bit, "Finally, I thought she would never fall asleep."
"Yeah..." I try not to say much.
"What is up with you? Normally you are flirting with me, or at least talking."
"Umm well." I can feel my heart start to beat fast, and she crawls over to me, "Uh..." I move back, felling nervous for the first time.
"What's wrong princess? Aren't you the one that was saying loosen up?"
"Umm Lindsey.. Uh!" Lindsey lays on me, "Lindsey please stop." My heart is beating rapidly.
"Why? Can I not sleep on you?"
"No you can, but I don't know if I will be able to hold back if you don't get off."
"What do you mean?" I kiss her, hard, "Hmm..!" I can't hold back. I move my hands from her shoulders down her arm, "Hmm okay.. Erik I get it. I will get off."
"To late now." I smile.
"Oh no. What have I done?"
"Something bad, you tempted me."
We both smile, and she snuggles into me. She is warm. I feel almost bad, because I know my pants won't dry, and probably were freezing her bare legs. I move her, and stand up.
"What are you doing?" She asks.
"Taking off my pants."
"What!" She almost a jumps up.
"Don't worry. I don't mean like that. I just thought that my pants were cold, and I didn't want you to be cold."
"Oh sure that's what you were thinking."
"It was! Unless you want me to be thinking the other thing."
"No! I am good."
"Good. Come here, I am cold." I pull her close and lay close. With her in my arms.
"Ahh Erik!" I laugh, and kiss her forehead, "Erik?"
"Hmm?"
"Last night you asked if I love you."
"Yeah?"
"Do you love me?" I don't know how to answer her. I more than love her, I need her.
"I don't love you."
"Oh..." She goes quiet.
"I need you."
