My Beautiful Bella [COMPLETED]

Chapter 21

Bella P.O.V

I smiled as his arms wrapped around me, embracing me in a warm hug. I have to admit, I really did miss this. I missed having my best friend by my side. He was literally my only friend, besides the Cullen's, but I mean he was the only friend that was my actual age. Just being back in his arms made me feel safe just like how I feel with Edward.

"What are you doing here? It's been a long time. What happened to you?" His smile grew as he looked into my eyes.

"Well I'm actually here to see you...if that's okay?" He nodded as I smiled while giving him another hug.

"What for?" I didn't bother answering, I just took his hand and led him out the door.

"I need you to come with me for a bit. It's really important," I watched as he raised his eyebrows and then nodded while I got in the car.

We drove in complete silence. I figured that it would be better for Carlisle to explain everything. It just didn't feel right to come back into his life, then ask for his help. I pulled up to the driveway, stopped the car, and hesitated before getting out.

When I opened the door I felt a hand grab my wrist. "Bella I can't be here," I knew he was right, but Edward said to ask for his help, and that's exactly what I'm doing.

"Jake, trust me. Everything's fine. They asked for you to come," he nodded as I gave him a reassuring smile.

As I made my way up the front steps, I saw Edward open the door for us. He started to frown as he looked to see Jacob approaching the door.

"What's he doing here? I thought you were asking him for help?" I didn't respond right away I just smiled and gave him a kiss.

"I am asking for his help...with a little bit of your help too. Where's Carlisle?" He gestured his hand to the living room as me and Jacob made our way inside.

"Hello Jacob," I heard Carlisle's gentle voice from the other side of the room.

"Hello... So is anyone going to tell me why I'm here, and why I'm in a room with you filthy bloodsuckers?" I nodded as I made my way to the couch next to Edward.

        "We need your help Jacob, and we need the other wolves from your pack to help us too," I watched the look on Jacob's face turn from nervous to apologetic.

        "Wolves? What wolves? I don't know what you're talking about," his eyes instantly turned to me as I sat there knowing why he was lying.

        "It's okay Jake. I know what you are," he nodded with a sigh as he turned his eyes back to Carlisle.

        "What kind of help do you need?" Carlisle's eyes shifted to me as I sighed.

        "Jacob, we need you and the other wolves to help us fight.  Something is coming for Bella, and we really need your help. That's why we came back," his eyes turned back to me as he started to pace around the room.

        "Something? What exactly do you mean?" I could tell he was getting even more nervous than he already was to begin with.

         "We don't know...all we know is that they're vampires, but do you think you can convince the others to fight with us?"

        After a moment of silence he sighed and stopped pacing around the room, "The packs will fight. We've never been afraid of vampires, and we sure as hell are not going to start to now," I felt his eyes lock on the view of Edward and I, as I smiled at him.

         I led him to the door, it was dark out, so I offered him a ride home, but he refused.  He said he would just run back.  I gave him a hug as we said our goodbyes.  I felt Edward behind me since Jacob rushed out of the house as soon as he looked behind me.

        "Well it's been awhile since we've been here," I said with a smile and laid my head down on Edwards chest.

        "It really has, I remember when I first took you here," he looked down at me smiling as his arm tighten around my waist.

        We spent the very late hours of the night at our meadow.  The meadow where he had took me to when I was little.  The meadow where I made him a flower crown.  The meadow that was our special place.  It started getting cold, so we decided to go back to the house for me to get some rest.  The problem was, I didn't.  Edward and I talked for hours until it was morning.  All I really wanted was this not to end.  I didn't want to die, this was too special to give up.  This was beautiful.  All I want is this...forever.

So yes, this chapter was really short and REALLY boring compared to the others chapters I've written, but this one, I had nothing to write about.  I promise the next chapters will be longer.
