Chapter 8

Bella P.O.V

==Bella's Dream==

"Edward?" I could hear the screams all around me. It was dark, I was alone in a forest. There was nothing I could see, it was pitch black. I could feel the tears streaming down my face as I looked around trying to find my way back home. I could hear a strange sound of laughter coming towards me. I tried to move back, but I tripped over a loose branch.

I tried to yell for help again, I didn't know where anyone was. I could just hear the laughter and voices coming closer to me as I cried for help, "Edward where are you!" All of the sudden I realized I was screaming. I could feel my heart rapidly increasing, there was fire all around me, and inside me. My cries for help didn't work. No one came, I continued screaming from the fire as I looked down at my arm as I saw the amount of blood I was loosing. I hear the laughter drifting away, and I could feel my heart slowly decreasing, I could feel my last breath I would ever take.

==End of Bella's Dream==

I woke up screaming and crying as I looked around trying to breathe. I got up from my bed, Edward wasn't with me anymore. I started having a pain in my chest as I tried to breathe. Edward rushed into my room he ran over to me quickly trying to get me to calm down.

"Bella what happened? Are you alright?" There was a tone of panic in his voice. "Bella I'm so sorry I left you," he hugged me, waiting for me to answer.

I didn't answer though I just pulled him closer to me, and laid back down in his arms. "Can I just go back to sleep please?" He nodded as he kissed my forehead.

***Later***

I woke up a little bit after I had went to sleep, I was still sleeping in Edwards arms. He was smiling down at me as I woke up. "Good morning Bella," I smiled back at him as I moved myself away from him.

"So are you going to tell me where you went last night, and why you almost scared me to death?" He frowned and looked down at his hands, and I knew he still felt bad for leaving me alone.

He picked his head up and turned to me, I could see sadness in his eyes, "Um yeah. I left to go hunting, and I didn't want to leave you during the day, so I left while you were sleeping so I didn't risk hurting you," I could feel myself starting to blush as Edward showed how much he cared for me.

"But that doesn't matter. What matters is that I won't leave you alone again, ever," he smiled at me as he pulled me back into his arms to give me a hug. "I love you Bella," I started to smile as I heard his words. From the first day I met him, I always thought he hated me, but he loves me, he really does.

"I love you too Edward," I moved away from his hug and kissed his cheek. After that, he left my room in silence.

I got ready for the day, I put on some jeans, with a teal sweatshirt, and a pair of black converse. I heard a knock on the door as soon as I finished getting ready. It was Esme. She walked in with a smile on her face as she sat down on the bed. I sat down next to her returning the smile.

"Look Bella, we have to discuss something important, and I feel that this is the right thing to do," she looked down at her hands, and smiled.

"What is it?" I felt my stomach starting to turn as I started to feel nervous. What could be more important than me living with vampires?

"So we're all thinking that it's time for you to go back to school," she waited for me to answer as I felt my heart skip a beat.

"School? You want me to go to school? Why? Why school? Do I have to?" I fired questions after questions, and argued that I didn't want to go back to school, especially back to the school where I had no friends, and other kids would bully me.

"Bella, of course you have to go to school, it's your main priority right now. And if you're thinking we'll send you to that awful school, we aren't. We found you a brand new school," she smiled giving me a hug. "And don't worry, I'll still be your teach-" someone cut her off, and I recognized the voice as soon as it entered the room.

"And I'll be there to make sure no one hurts you," I smiled as I looked up at Edward who was standing by the door.  I got up to give Edward a hug, and he lifted me in his arms. I don't really know why, but I feel safer when I'm around him. I feel like no one can ever hurt me as long as I'm with him.
