My Beautiful Bella [COMPLETED]

Chapter 5

Bella P.O.V

I got up and got dressed for the day, and made my way downstairs to the kitchen where Esme already had my breakfast ready. I sat down at the table and started eating my cereal. I watched as everybody came downstairs except for Edward. Alice took a seat across from me again.

"Good morning Bella," she said with her usual bright smile, "how did you sleep?"

I didn't respond right away, because I didn't know how to tell her Edward had come in my room last night to comfort me. So I just didn't tell her. "I slept fine, how about you?" Alice didn't respond for a while either she just looked around.

"Well I couldn't really sleep at all..." Her words drifted off, so I continued eating breakfast without saying another word.

I finished my cereal, and walked back to the kitchen to wash my bowl. After that I found Edward sitting on the couch with Emmet and Carlisle. I walked over smiling while I sat next to Rosalie.

"So Bella what do you want to do today?" Rosalie asked with a smile. I didn't answer right away I just saw Edward staring at me again.

"I don't know," I began while I still watched Edwards eyes meet mine, "What do you want to do?" Suddenly Alice rushed into the room with a big smile.

I heard Rosalie sigh loudly as soon as Alice was standing right in front of us, "How about we go shopping!" I now understood why Rosalie sighed, I didn't mind to go shopping, but I know with Alice, we would be at the mall for hours maybe even days.

I didn't know what to say, so I just nodded. Alice jumped for joy as she yelled very loudly, "Yay! I'll go and get ready!" I watched as she ran off to her room, she was already dressed though, why does she need to change?

We got back from the mall about three hours later, I have to admit, I had fun. Alice bought me new clothes, which I don't know how they'll be able to fit in my closet. I checked the time as soon as we got home. It was around four o'clock in the afternoon I was feeling tired from all the shopping, but I stayed down stairs until I actually wanted go to sleep. I sat on the couch with Esme. Everyone was still sitting on the couch, except for Edward. I don't know what I did to make him hate me. I sat there in confusion with thoughts running through my head.

        It was finally time for me to go to bed. I was glad yet at the same time, I was scared.  What if I start screaming in my sleep again? What if I have the same nightmare as I did last night?  I didn't know what to do but to just wait until the nightmare comes back.  I walked upstairs to my room, I changed and brushed my hair.  I went to go and close my door when I saw Edwards door open a slight bit.

        I walked out the door to Edwards room quietly.  I stopped in front of the door, and knock as quiet as possible.  He opened the door a bit more allowing me to come in.  I walked in to see him laying on his couch with music on.

        "Hey Edward I was wondering if I could ask you something...if you don't mind?" I walked a little bit closer to him as he sat up turning to face me.

        "Of course Bella," he said with a smile while patting the seat next to him, "what is it?"

        I sat next to him taking a deep breath as I looked into his eyes, "Why do you hate me Edward?" I started to frown as he did. 

        He sighed before answering, "Bella I don't hate you, I could never. What would make you think that?" 

        He rubbed my back with his cold hands as I was thinking about what to say. "It's just, when I woke up, you left, and I thought you were mad at me."

        "Bella I wasn't mad at you. I was...um...mad at myself, I didn't mean to make you think that Bella I'm really sorry."  He held out his arms, and he gave me a hug while kissing my head.

        I rose from the couch and walked to the door, "Oh and Edward there's also one more thing," I said as I turned to face him again.

        "Yes Bella?" He got up from the couch and slowly walked towards me as if he already knew what I was going to say.

        "Can you help me sleep again? I'm just scared that I'll have the same nightmare again," I said as I stepped back a little.

        "Of course Bella, I would do anything for you," he said with a smile.  I smiled back, and I walked into my room.

        He shut the door as he laid down next to me, I rested my head on his chest.  He held my waist as I tried to sleep, before I closed my eyes I whispered to him without looking at him saying, "Thank you Edward," and I shut my eyes with a smile.
