Living on the Moon

Ch 4:

I follow in silence for about ten minutes before the sound of beaches cracking and birds singing get annoying.

"Where are we going?" I frustratedly ask. Knowing that even though I am a guest and should not be an ass, I am.

"To the pack house," he replies with a sigh. "The border that you choose to meet us at is the farthest to the pack house. Which is where you will be staying at for this upcoming week. Your meeting with Alpha Pierce will be tonight after dinner. The pack is having movie night tonight so if you would like I can show you around until the movie starts. I will come an get you when it is time for your meeting." And with that we were at the house.

"I hope you enjoy your stay here at Full Moon Pack, but I must go tell Alpha Pierce that you are here. Then I will take you on your tour." He said with a small smile.

"Ok. Should I wait here or can I walk around?" I know one thing about this pack for sure. Ever since Alpha Pierce took over they don't put up with problems or anything that is against them.

"Of course you can, just don't wander too far." And he disappeared with that.

I took out my phone and decided to call Terra to see what is happening with her. I already knew her schedule and Fridays was always the day she wanted to talk the most. "Hey Terra, this is Dia, and I was wondering if you wanted to chat as I catch up with my old life?" She thought for a moment trying to make me think she was going to say no.

"Let me think, of course I want to talk! Now which old life is this one?" Terra knows me too well. I almost feel she can read my mind.

"The Full Moon pack life, you know the one that is named after my family. Well this is this year's victim for whatever trouble we cause. You are visiting right?" I babble on about life and she speed talks to me about earth things and her life. Terra visits me every year to keep me company on my week long party of messes and games.

"Of course, I wouldn't miss it for the world and that's saying a lot cause it's my job to run it." She always says that. It goes like this, I'm her world and she's mine. Our worlds are just different planets, hers is earth and mine is the lovely moon.
