I explain the whole Daemon thing in my closing A.N. so be sure to read that. Hope you like the story so far.
Previously in ch 7.
"This is Daemon, he doesn't need an introduction just know that he means no harm to any of you and that he is staying with me and Terra most of the time. He will also need his own room." The boys look at me like i am crazy and i turn to Terra and roll my eyes. She just shakes her head and says "Show them will you."
I set Daemon on the ground and step back. The boys mouths drop and Terra and I just smile.

"What, how?" Luke says.
"Hello. My name is Daemon Black. I am not a threat to any of you so I would appreciate the death stares Daniel; Now i can answer your questions." Daemon says with elegance.
"First how did you shift into a raven, second how do i know you, and third we will need to talk after school but answer these questions." Daniel says in a rough tone.
"Now, now i said i can answer your questions. Not that i would. And i am a shiftier like you Mr.wolf and my kind prefer to stay away from others that would harm us. And the second question you have to figure out because i meet lots of people in little time and can't possibly remember them all." Daemon says all the rehearsed lies with ease and elegance like normal even though he is being rude.
"Ok guys, we need to go to school and i don't plan on being late on my first day here." I say trying to take the attention off of Daemon. He shifts back into his raven form as we load into the cars that we are all taking. Daniel, Jake, and Zoey take Daniel's car. Luke offers me a ride but i pass the offer. Terra, Daemon and I take Terra's limo. It may be flashy and all but i am comfortable around her and we need to talk without having to use codes and overthink what the other is saying.
"So, what did you bring everything here for and why did you bring Daemon?" I ask Terra as soon as she gives the driver the school name and gets seated. Daemon is sitting on my lap and i am petting him. He enjoys being in his bird form because when he is in his "human" form he still has wings and they weigh a lot.
"Well, this year you are here for a week, i still have work and you have work so we need all the help we can get. Also you know i need my pixies to help me and my maids and butlers go where i go." Terra says this calmly and sets her hands on top of her lap. "Also I didn't bring Daemon, he brings himself. I only provided him with where you were staying this year and for how long. You would never believe you guys are dating from how much you talk to each other."
"Now just because I don't spend every waking moment talking to him does not mean we don't talk. We were texting the day before my trip and i have only been here for one day. Give me some slack. In the time i have been here i was eating, getting interrogated, getting my files, and sleeping. Now i can stay up for weeks at a time on the moon but the powers work different on earth. Not all of us have personal assistance that help us and remind us to do everything." I start getting mad that she accuses me of being a bad girlfriend.
