Diana's POV
I wake up and go to the bathroom. My hair's a mess so i go to fix it, but before I do i brush my teeth. I comb my hair and look out of the window. It is later than usual and normally my assigned maid has to wake my up. I decide that i will go to the library and enjoy myself today if nobody is going to come of me.
After Sir. Black and I went on the walk two days ago I fell asleep without noticing that my maids never took off my necklace. They ignored it, but they never gave me a necklace to wear so they must have noticed and taken note of it.
I look at the back of the necklace where the clasp usually is. But is see none. It is like the necklace was chained right around my neck and not clasped. I assume that there is a weak link somewhere in it that I can break and get it off to find my friends and get out of here. But I pull at everyone and look closely at each chain but no weak spot appears. I pull on the necklace as a whole and it just manages to rub against the back of my neck and hurt me a little. It is loose enough that I can see it and it is hanging in a comfortable spot but tight enough that I can't get it over my head.
I know that I won't be able to cut it because they don't give me anything that could be used as a weapon and if they did I would be watched be at least 5 maids or butlers so that even i could not manage to harm them, myself, or anything else and one could always manage to get more if needed.
-They really know what they are doing.- Luna says. -I hope that we manage to get out of here soon. But first let's get some food!-
I roll my eyes at her and put on a random outfit. Nothing too fancy I am just going to the library and then I know once a maid or butler finds me they can bring me food. After all I don't know where the kitchen is and the dining room is locked when it is not meal time so it stays clean and meetings can be held there in private.
I grab my old book that I finished yesterday and head out.
*Timeskip powered by my love for books.*
When I reach the library there was a fire in the fireplace and a platter of sandwiches and some tea set out. They either knew I was going to come and set it out for me or someone else is here. I look around the library and see no sign of anyone, but just in case I will go get a new book and then come back here to see why it is here. I go to the mythology and myths section and return my old book. It was about old folklore and the myths in the Victorian era and a little about the time before. Even though I know all about it I wanted to brush up on it to keep myself busy. Nothing wrong with that.
I head over to the fantasy and science fiction area and fun a good futuristic book. It doesn't have title it because it is leather bond and the ink has faded from time.
I then head over to the fireplace and sit at the faded loveseat. The windows are open and you can see the dust dancing in the rays of light. Dipping and then floating upward and then gliding to the floor or switching places with a different piece of dust to continue the dance. Funny how they dance, diping and switching so that you can never keep track of one piece.
